The 266’s starting allocation has never been confirmed as temporary so why do you keep mentioning that? Because I had heard the VHs are only being used until some ADHs come spare from 94 Strictly I didn’t hear they were temporary on 266, but that the VHs will be returning which implies they are not long term. However this was before the announcement of loss of 285 in June, so could have evolved since then. I do see how you reached that conclusion. The ADEs from the 81 plus the ADHs from S/V should be sufficient for the truncated 266. I wouldn't bet against the VHs being removed from the situation but we'll see, some ADHs will have to stay at S until the 94's BYDs arrive.

Diversion via Ashley Road, Station Approach and Tudor Road? That would also miss out a stop If the controller gave them permission then they'd be fine, otherwise could be asked to explain why a bit of route is missed. Technically will also add to the lost mileage total. Turned into the Hampton station bus stand by horning for cars to make way, dropped off passengers there. Then diverted into the bridge (I'm not very familiar with this area) which next stop was Hampton and Richmond borough FC. Looks like there was a diversion

I imagine both the 266 and 306 will have temporary part allocations until the 94's ADHs/VHs are released. Each of these routes could get any combination of ADEs from the 81, ADHs from the 94, VHs from the 94 and VHs from the 635. Presumably the 266 will operate from RP and the 306 from V?

I think the introduction of 278 on 9 Dec also frees up one bus on 697 and replaces the 698 which is another 4 available buses Then there is 8 buses for 406 and 2 for 681, releasing 10 SPs (8 are in use working 65) Might be easier to do a swap with 285 and send the euroIV hybrids to 306 Once the 94 fleet is replaced, the cascade of buses will allow the 2007 ADEs (from 406 & part 418) to leave, along with the unrefurbished SPs (I think there are 10 ?) plus the 9 old SPs. I would speculate the loss of 285 will see another 16 SPs leave in July 2020, don’t know which ones, but possibly the euroIV batch from 183 or 71 (which presumably won’t get euroVI upgrades). With a backfill from route that gets the VHs.

This means that often things will not be as simple as ‘16 SPs leave when the 285 is lost’. To give an example, look at the 2014 Volvo Hybrids at Stagecoach being returned, when there are still much older E400s and Scanias that could have been. The 278 does not replace the 698, except maybe one or two journeys - Let’s see what happens, and I know that there will be further twists and turns before December’s changes are finalised. The fact that the higher E400Hs are going through refurb shows that they are destined for the 266, as the lower ones are being done for the E3.

No, they were swapped with the 2010 older ones, and are also being refurbished as we speak. The higher ones are for the H12 (x3) and the 266.

Of course if the 139 is lost then RATP's fleet plans will probably change. Now the 285 has been lost to Abellio, RATP have VHs which could be used on the 306. Its likely more SPs are going to be ousted now the 285 has been lost. The 56-reg SPs are certainly going to going to, and perhaps some older SPs too. If the 139 is lost, we'll see the 13-reg VHs free, so they could be kept, and used to oust further SPs. Also the three 65-reg VHs from the 139 may return to S, and could he used to release ADHs from the 94 to the 266 to simplify the 266's allocation.

I can’t see any Hybrids being used for a cascading unless there is absolutely nothing up for tender on which RATP could bid for. More chance of them being retained for an existing route tender. The 281 or 111 perhaps.

Fulwell has now gained the final 2 DLEs that had been on 70
FW now has following 33 DLEs (for 216, 411, K3) which have combined PVR of 26 although many appear regularly on 371 and less frequently other single deck routes
30049-52, 30061-67, 30217-226, 30238-249
Not sure if 371 is now officially part DLE allocated, possibly has transferred some buses to 419 which is due to get a Roehampton enhancement soon (are the 265 extras continuing ?)

ADE40423 is now at Hants and Dorset trim for a refurb, I'm guessing this is either for the 266 or 406?
