More watering down of this, see page 12 of routeone
In summary. In future the losing company will not be able to off-load overpaid staff onto the losing company. It can only be undertaken with the agreement of both parties.
If the winning company does not want the staff it is up to the losing company to redeploy/dispose of them.
So all those that moaned and wanted TUPE changed, you got it. Say goodbye to existing terms and conditions and say hello to starter rates.
Will be interesting to see if GAL can retain any of the former ETB network now.

That's going to cause masses of problems. Well done to the idiot who changed it.

Standards in this industry are only going one way and we as staff only have one group to blame - ourselves. I've seen several occasions of TUPE'd staff challenging the ruling; going to courts etc... They've only made it worse. Well done chaps. Well done indeed

No consolation but its much the same in other industries. I've seen lorry drivers jobs advertised for a lot less than £9.60ph, if Brits won't do it Poles will

Indeed my stepson gets that for his part time cleaning job. I get about that when I'm coach driving.
But it's not all doom and gloom. Some operators pay really well.
