A pity the DWs all appear to be single doored as it would've been great if more could be preserved back into London spec. Would be interesting to know how much those ADLs are worth now.

If you are really that interested in a dual doored 05-reg DW .... Arriva will have some going in September, in genuine London condition.

Someone needs to tell them that 08-reg vehicles were new in 2008, not 2009

May be worth a ride on some of them so as to get a bit of feel on what some are like in terms of acceleration, braking, unusual noises, unusual vibrations, etc. Would give that bit more insight onto each vehicle.

V309 KGW is up for sale again - being advertised on Facebook for £3.5k. I believe it is in working condition.
I'm on the lookout for end of life S or T reg TAs, or any from the V-KGW batch so please do share any ads you see!

London and non-London Tridents around that age are often offered on eBay, some around that price as well...similarly with B7TLs.

Yes, looking for one that's intended to be scrapped though as I'd like to buy a few bits and pieces and the correctly sized variants only seem to be from the oldest Stagecoach/Metroline and Connex TAs! TA9 was a beautiful sounding machine. I am in the market for a spare bus but that one has been too extensively modified for my needs sadly.

TA9 was a beautiful sounding machine. I am in the market for a spare bus but that one has been too extensively modified for my needs sadly. This month's edition of LOTS mentions a couple of Y reg ex-Stagecoach Tridents that were with Golden Tours and had since moved to Wigley for scrap, the buses in question being 17366 and 17367 (Y366 NHK and Y367 NHK). Also 17388 (Y388 NHK) went from Bandcruisers to Hardwick, Barnsley for scrap. The above is said to all have happened in May so not sure what might be left of those buses if they're still about. May be worth contacting the firms that had the Tridents prior to scrap... or perhaps even Stagecoach to see if they're planning on on getting rid of anymore euro2s. A more recent one is former Stagecoach Trident 17292 (X292 NNO) which in June went from the Scottish Fire Service to Barry Delvin Recovery (DLR) in Knockentiber, East Ayrshire.

Thanks, but all too new! I think it's only the following plated batches that have the bits I'm after; S-BWC T-KPU T-CLO V-GLB V-KGW Point taken however and I may end up taking a visit to the scrappers yards at some point.

Green Bus seem to have a few tridents around this age up for scrap - found a flickr photo of V316KGW which seems to have a few parts missing, as if intended for scrap (was withdrawn by them ages ago): www.flickr.com/photos/busboy16164/48284371497/in/photolist-2gyJ2rK-a7kw7k-eGmtNz-g9eNSQ-e286Mw-dA1TyX-fp6SCC-g9eCEy-kLJnYH-oQMbLV-dzNLro-emY6kc-fbyHNn-fpYUMw-f2bRYf-mbL6fg-ndvyfY-9rP1bq-g9eiYg (NOT my photo) In other photos by this user it shows many other withdrawn tridents - V321KGW is also there (in one piece - no parts taken). And YN51KVF - But thats too new for what your after
