I agree that this episode was rather better. It was interesting to see behind the scenes of the garages and how buses are rolled out for service. The drivers seemed decent types although I was a bit worried about how well "Mr 159" was doing in terms of paying attention vs talking to the camera. I know they were tracking through the evening / night but there were bits which were supposedly "night" when day routes were still running which was a tad irritating. I haven't seen quite the scale of disruption that was on the programme when I've been out and about on night routes but obviously things vary somewhat. Thankfully their filming did not include a "weirdo taking photos of night buses" I'd never have lived that one down. Someone will have to identify the "group celebrity" for me as I've only knowingly met 2 group members. Overall it was pretty decent with some good filming of buses doing what they're supposed to do - getting people around the City.

I'm guessing the Garage that was filmed was Lea Onterchange. The VN36 Series gave it away

I watch this porgram which was much better than last week. One interesting scene was when the driver tommy on the 25 had a load of fare evaders. What bothers me more is that driver got no recognition for doing what he did. No thanks for stopping the fare evaders. No bonus. Nothing. He got a load of abuse for his troubles not just from the fare evaders but also from the passengers already on board, and was also running over an hour late. Just as tommy says, its just part and parcel of the job.
Also, was happy to see one of the centrecomm guys on there. I think his name is denis moorhouse. Makes me laugh whenever hes on the radio.

Interesting and a quite funny episode too, with some great lines. Love the cleaners line about the comparison between humans and animals. Also the drivers chat up line 'your finer'. Enjoyed it!

Feel sorry for those drivers who get abuse on a daily basis. People should not take out their problems on the drivers IMO.

It managed to sum up the varied experiences which thousands of people experience on night buses, which (thankfully) is mainly people having a good time or wanting to get home, while moving to a more sombre tone, showing homeless people and more worryingly, troublemakers. In this city it is too easy to forget how chaotic it might be a few miles down the way in another town while you are going of to sleep!

Yh last nights episode was much better. I like how centrecomm has a bus stop in the middle of the office lol. The homeless guy who goes to Heathrow and states that the N9 is the longest night route needs to try the N89 but thats probably too busy. I also saw the forum celebrity on the camera, more then once.
