Since when did the 6 go to Notting Hill Gate? I think you mean Hyde Park Corner Mistake! I mean the 52 and I also mean High Street Ken as well. EDIT. Got all these routes totally mixed up. Forget all that I have said 😄 Not to worry, no harm done

Can't help thinking there will be a lot of bemused intending passengers on Monday morning waiting for their normal bus to work. The appalling lack of publicity for the changes shows how much London Buses cares for its customers. Not even a TfL press release to announce the changes. In fairness, they sent it to registered oyster card users, it has been playing on the ibus announcements on the bus routes over past week. Unless you were on holiday for 1 month and started back this week, that would catch you out.

I dont understand the differnt bus types to me its either SD or DD. Males no difference LT HV sex a bus is a bus is a bus. I know E11 now has fewer seats than before but it's never full anyway so don't matter. Maybe it's just me !! Hmmm? ?

Nothing specific on local bus stops that don't have Countdown displays. I saw half a message on a display in Woolwich. It did not repeat before my bus arrived. Not heard any iBus announcements. Technology is wonderful but simplicity is better in many ways.

The London Metro newspaper has not given any details of last weekend's bus changes. It regularly gives details of the rail and Tube weekend engineering works and many reports on cycling around London and places to visit, but does not have any reports on buses.

They would have copied the details from a TfL Press Release which has not happened.

I heard ibus announcements myself.

I also don't recall seeing anything in the 'Weekend Travel Information' email which would have been a sensible place to mention it. It was mentioned on iBus but never underestimate people's ability to tune those announcements out.

Unfortunately users of the 53 have to change to a 453 at Deptford Bridge to get a fixed hopper fare. Nothing to tell them this.

I wonder where the extra 66’s will come from. Maybe some of the left over DWs from the 144 (the 301 only needs 11 and the 144 has 18, which are all being replaced by HVs), and can use some of the redundant DT smartblinds without the 301 on them, as I believe they have 66?

My bet is for DW275, DW276 and possibly DW277 to return to GY for the 66 with the 221 using 3 HV's from the 67 that are not needed for the 144.
