There is a bus stand at Kew Gardens Station. Could TfL do the 110 extension over the 391 now, instead of the previous planned 419 ? I had noticed that the new frequency of the 391 will match that of the proposed 110 extension to Hammersmith. Not as beneficial as the extension over the 419 routing IMHO, but it would allow TfL to realise savings from the associated H22 and H37 changes. Actually quite a good idea to extend a bus from Manor Circus along Sandycoombe Road to Kew Gardens Station. It would cover the only section of 391 route not near another bus route. There is also a (rarely used) bus stand on Kew Green (by Greyhound pub) although a further extension would be pointless as frequent 65 covers that section Part of the problem with the proposed Richmond area changes was finding stand space in central Richmond so a change that allows residual 391 to be killed thus freeing its stand would benefit the other changes, some of which had rather pointless extra sections just to reach a stand.

I was aboard a standing-room-only 391 yesterday between Turnham Green and Hammersmith.
Let's not wish away a bus route passengers actually use.

The Turnham Green to Hammersmith section thou is covered by other routes namely the 267 and H91 plus the 190 from Stamford Brook so standing loads on that section are to be expected of the route arrives first.

Just seen on london bus routes that the 11 is being diverted at Bank via Bishopsgate to Shoreditch. I'm guessing this is just a change in standing arrangements as the 344 is switching with the 344. Or will the 11 start showing Shoreditch?

Probably sensible to have the 11 and 26 together. It seems a lifetime ago now that the 23 was at Liverpool Street.

Decided to go on the 391 today between Richmond and Hammersmith to see what the loadings were like, every bus apart from one was extremely busy some even packed. I know that most of this route is covered by other buses but I still don't buy into the fact that this won't be a busy route.

The 11 will be far more useful on Bishopsgate, this is a welcome change.

I was aboard a standing-room-only 391 yesterday between Turnham Green and Hammersmith. Let's not wish away a bus route passengers actually use. Part of the reason for those standing loads is because Chiswick High Road lost 7.5bph in March when the 27 was cruelly axed backed to Hammersmith. The section along Chiswick High Road is invariably going to be busy as there is plenty of demand for travel to/from Hammersmith and its a shame the 267 and H91 haven't had increased frequencies, but the 391 is a case of busy single deckers on a busy bus corridor. Once the PVR cut comes in that will further reduce bus services on a corridor which needs more buses not less, with the poor Sunday frequencies on all three routes its not uncommon to see busy buses leaving Hammersmith, something which will be exacerbated by the 391's Sunday frequency being halved.

Double decking has been considered over the years for the 391 and maybe with the freq dropping it may be good move to assist along Chiswick High Road.

I really struggle to see how X140 will operate on a 12 minute frequency and with a PVR of 10. It just doesn’t seem possible.
