Maybe also a N161 and N422 from North Greenwich? They could even operate in one direction only and then return to NG out of service for their next load? I would imagine that there will be a lot of people using the tube to NG and a considerable number of buses will be needed for onward travel from there.

I was just thinking it might be hard to justify the N73, N123 and the Victoria Line between Seven Sisters and Walthamstow on a Fri/Sat night and I suppose an N123 could possibly do a double run to serve W'stow Central? I understand your point about justification but the Night Tube is not going to be immensely frequent. We do still have 11 bph in the daytime between Blackhorse Road and close to Seven Sisters alongside a 3 minute tube service and plenty of people still use the bus even where they could actually use the tube instead so TfL accept a level of duplication. I can't see the N123 running via Walthamstow Central - it would get close to adding a bus to the schedule for no great purpose. A half hourly N73 and half hourly N123 is what we'll probably get which is one bhp less than now at weekends but with a greater choice of destinations plus the tube if you need it. If the N73 continues at 5 bph to Seven Sisters then there's always the option to change buses at Tottenham if people wish. Yes I suppose 4bph between Seven Sisters and Walthamstow Fri/Sat night would be about right so no need to run the N123 via W'stow Central, I was only suggesting that if the N73 was withdrawn.

If you look at the NYE extras then North Greenwich has night services on that night on all routes bar the 129. I would certainly not be surprised to see the NYE pattern repeated for the Night Tube.

There's no official confirmation of any cuts, I work for Metrobus and nothing's been said yet.

To Thornton Heath Pond But really...I can't see any Croydon bus routes being given the chop. I imagine a large number of people actually use these night services.

Croydon is practically a 'mini London' and night services should stay reflected on that. We need more night bus services, the night buses provide a lifeline to nightlife here. Route 157 would be top of my list for a 24 hour service. It would provide Selhurst, Norwood Junction, Carshalton, Wallington and Waddon with night time links to Morden, or to Croydon or Crystal Palace.

I rather expect you will get a weekend version given the Northern Line will run to Morden under the Night Tube plans. You also have the precedent of NYE night services including the 157.

The 154 might be the better option as it serves Sutton? I would certainly have thought a return of the N75 could be justified on a Fri/Sat night?
