What I have observed at Victoria during morning rush hours is packed 36s and busier 2s. As for the Nine Elms corridor my impression has always been that if it were feasible for the 344 and 156 to not arrive together no extra buses would be needed. What's really going to be needed once the NLE opens are bus services starting from Battersea Power Station area but going in other directions other than towards Nine Elms/Vauxhall. Indeed such as an extended P5 though that would require a bus gate being installed at the northern end of the Patmore Estate in order for buses to access Nine Elms via the estate. Also while they're at it, maybe divert the P5 along Union Road rather than Lansdowne Way which would bring a bus route to more people.

Speaking of Union Road, the current diversion on 196/P5 which ends the coming Sunday is fun for a route like 196 with it's great Voith Es

My 436 was rammed (from Battersea Cats Home to Vauxhall), but only because a 156 and 344 hadn't been around for a while.
Seeing as how expensive those flats are going to be, and with the Northern Line going that way in a few years, I just don't see what the long-term point of this was...

I might be a bit harsh but I think because Battersea is more of a richer area that's why they wanted the 436. if it was somewhere like Hackney in a part with no transport links they would only propose an unfrequent route and the consultation would take longer

Had a couple hours to kill so wanted to ride the 452. Waited at Vauxhall for 15 minutes where buses pulled in, terminated and went dead to depot. I then decided to take the 436 to be centric to route 452 & not be affected by curtailment as such. Have to say that Nine Elms Lane passengers are pretty savvy to not waiting in the cold and catching the 1st bus they see. So nice to see the 436 reroute isn't as bad as originally thought.
However when I got to Battersea Park; proceeded to wait for another 20 mintues for a bus that didn't appear. It was no help that I was travelling at midnight (when I reached Vauxhall at 23:10), but I can certainly say that the 452 extension is not reliable. At that point I was fed up for waiting for a vehicle that didn't show on iBus; decided on an end-to-end with the 436 and obviousy as I boarded the 436, the 452 zoomed by in the distance.
Has anyone had any similar expeniences to catching the 452 from Vauxhall?

4 months on have these changes had an effect on the 36?
Is the 452 running reliable with its extension?
