As snoggle said the reason it was closed was probably something to do with safety concerns, I still think keeping one open for the 119 & 466 could have been done. As for what was done to the station the only improvement in my opinion is the bricks being replaced with Tarmac. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the 367 did, I sure I've see one in there before. Now that you mention the 367 it don't make sense, the 410 dose the same as the 367 and don't stop in there the 197, 312 don't ether and they only stop on Cherry Orchard Road. I can't see any H&S problem, buses were running right past the site so what's the difference. Tarmac and a rather modest flower bed, not a lot to show for six months work! Neither can I but H&S is the only thing that makes sense, it's not like TFL do stuff without looking at the impact on the local commuters 🤔 I think that new bus shelters should have been fitted, a countdown display would be nice to have see added.

I do wonder why the 367 stops there? Did it previously? I can't remember. It stops in Dingwall Road and Cherry Orchard Road so I can't see any obvious reason for it to stop there as well? Remember the 367 used to run via Addiscombe Road; it didn't serve Cherry Orchard Road so had to serve the bus station along with all the other Addiscombe Road routes. I suppose they could have removed the 367 stop in the bus station when the route was diverted via Lower Addiscombe Road, but there would probably have been complaints from people who have "always" caught the 367 from the bus station and wouldn't understand why the route had to be removed. I don't see why it shouldn't continue to stop there anyway.

Yes it probably stems from then, there is no harm in it stopping there but that's three bus stops in close proximity.
