Appearantly 8839 and up to eight MMCs are all that's left to complete delivery for the 109/201/407. When I passed through ADL Harlow last week there were a lot of E200's that looked like Abellio's

Most buses are cleaned when the get back to the yard, Within a few miles of being out the next day the dirt just builds up and up, much more so in the Winter, it's a never ending battle trying to keep buses clean when they spend most of their time out on the road getting dirty, also dependent on the temperature outside it might not be possible for the bus wash to be used Whilst the current weather doesn't help you don't see Stagecoach putting filthy buses out Go look at any 61 or 246 today and tell me they aren't filthy

One of those e200's on the 193 doesn't look very healthy. Thick black smoke every time it accelerated when I saw it yesterday. It's SEN38, I was following it today and it really is a smoke machine

This really isn't good enough and TfL should be penalising any operator that puts filthy buses on the road Well, the buses do have a lot of mud or something on them that needs a wash. I don't know what the substance is but it makes the buses look quite filthy. I could just about see out the window when i was on 8785 last week Most buses are cleaned when the get back to the yard, Within a few miles of being out the next day the dirt just builds up and up, much more so in the Winter, it's a never ending battle trying to keep buses clean when they spend most of their time out on the road getting dirty, also dependent on the temperature outside it might not be possible for the bus wash to be used

People really need to be careful when crossing the road at East Croydon Station!! Since May I've seen about 75 near misses with buses and trams and 1 person being run over by T54 back in September. People keep running across the road when buses are turning the corner at Dingwall Road and i hear the buses and trams having to blast their horns off at least three times a day!! I only cross to get to the 466 bus stop when the green man is showing or if no buses/trams/taxis are coming. Im scared that one day i will see a person being hit by a tram or a bus. People in London need to pay attention to what is going on around them, but no I'm sure updating their twitter with what they just ate for lunch or texting "bae" is far more important than looking around seeing if a bus/tram/car/van/lorry/another person is just about to run into you It should be TFL spec for all buses to be fitted with the very loud and distinctive DAF/VDL/Scania "Move out my way" horn IMO

When a contract they are operating on requires the bus to be refurbished, unless you want to pay for a full refurb for them I can't see them getting done anytime soon There's a remote chance they could be done as early as this year if the routes are retained with the same buses. IF...

I went on DOE3 today on the 154, however inside this bus, the seats were worn down, the floor was dirty and it smelt quite bad. When are the DOE's receiving a refurb? When a contract they are operating on requires the bus to be refurbished, unless you want to pay for a full refurb for them I can't see them getting done anytime soon

The Routeone review was not very complimentary either on the gearbox. Given ZF's 12 year experience and knowledge gained from the full sized AS-Tronic you'd have thought they'd have made a better stab at the Lite version. This is really shoddy product implementation. It looks like it wasn't tested enough otherwise a lot of the issues identified here would have been resolved or designed out. Considering I've been on 460hp coaches that are fitted with this gearbox and even they have managed to stall out, I don't think they have even sorted out the full size AS Tronic either... ZF are great at making powershift gearboxes but that's what they should stick to lol
