Are AD and WN going back to the old days of sharing buses? Notice that HV90 and 91 are currently carrying out WN duties, perhaps capitalomnibus can shed some light? Spoke to one of the AD engineers on the phone earlier about HV90 because the driver was complaining it was blowing hot air, its been transferred to Wood Green. Presuming then it’s the same for HV91. Let’s see if AD receive any buses from elsewhere, that’s 12 down including the SW’s

Has the 340 had a pvr cut? Only 4 buses out right now, I’m sure it was 6 on a Sunday with Arriva?

SW1, 7 and 8 are still at AD. SW1 still has its blinds in and SW8 is blinded for rail replacement. Who knows where they will end up. Also I just saw SW3 on the move heading east on the North Circular Road….

capitalomnibus will HV380-384 still be apart of the 141s allocation alongside HV66-92 once the 340 goes to RATP? They should be, the 340 was never officially allocated HV's they were on a temporary basis. Isn’t HV92 a WN vehicle? Plus AD also have HV64 and 65

Not long left for Arriva and the 340 sadly, I wonder what will leave AD, the T’s that are older and reliable or the SW’s which are newer but unreliable???

As a complete enthusiast and not knowing how bus operations work, could someone kindly explain to me how having the operating garage of a route is not really considered an advantage anymore? In the case of the 125, how does BT handle driver changeovers or say broken down vehicles especially if it happens right at the other end of the route like Winchmore Hill for instance?

Does anyone have any idea why some of DW501-515 are moving to AR? I thought once the 307 went electric these buses were bound for DT?

Both with DW’s and then superseeded by HV’s or HA’s

Just asking for the opinion of all Arriva drivers….. what’s the better bus to drive, a DW or a T??? Would the DW comparison include the TfL withdrawn euro3 engine DB250s with their DAF engines? Yes we can compare those as well

According to a post on the LVF Facebook Group, T131 and T145 have been listed for sale by Arriva, therefore they are both withdrawn. T131 is the first from the 250’s batch of Enviro400’s to be withdrawn, but any idea why both have departed? And yet T7 is still soldiering on. Also T11 still in daily use

Saw DW402 this morning, parked in a lay-by on the North Circular Road near to Edmonton. It was also blindless, end of its time or off to another garage?
