DE1911 (the Metroline YX11CNY Enviro 200 MMC that has the blue E6 route branding) is mostly on it's allocated route: the 95. Metroline should've carefully chosen that the bus they were selecting to go for the route branding, was actually allocated to the E6 and stays on the E6. I don't get why the operators in the West seem to be struggling, or not bothering to keep branded buses to allocated routes. Stagecoach and Arriva have been very good keeping branded buses on their allocated routes, especially considering prior to the branded BK and T both mixed and matched their Enviro400s all over the garage. Especially when considering that 75% of those vehicles are branded for each route whereas it's just 25% over in Hayes and on one VWH I've seen a pic of, the branding covers the rear blind

In effluent affluent West London, where most have a decent SUV to travel in and have no intention of getting a bus, and where chronic traffic issues (A40, A404, A406, A312, A4020 etc) make travelling in general highly unpleasant, it is a surprise that although the branding is less rubbish (using PC speak like when the weather forecast say it's "less cold" ) - they still need Adobe licenses for at least 4 proper fonts - I guess they are bickering over which Cost Centre will take the hit for the next attempt in North or South London - half the few buses they bothered with are on other routes. I saw that coming, though. The arrogance and incompetence gets me though. If it's not the misleading stuff in the branding, the branded buses are on different routes! Perhaps they think it's like advertising a holiday destination Hopefully someone living in White City who might use the 95 may think 'E6! That sounds like fun, I'll take the family for a ride on it at the weekend' If there is a West London route calling out for this stuff, then surely it's the X26?

But we have had route branded buses on X26 for 9 months Although the branding has gradually been disappearing Has had that catchy to and from Heathrow slogan spelt “East London Transit” So branding doesn’t have a high credibility factor on X26 (translate as it’s a local laughing stock)

Since the Hayes branding exercise was announced, DE1911 has appeared on the E6 for a total of 4 days with it spending the rest of its time on the 95, only about 25% of the time. Maybe that’s what they meant with only 25% of the buses being branded. They will only put it out on the correct route 25% of the time.

All those photos confirm is how naff that branding is. They can't even get the route number stickers the right size so they fit on the side of E200s properly.

Somebody needs to be taken to task over this Hayes route branding, absolutely farcical.

The rear number stickers that covered the route number blind box on VWH2188-2193 have been removed in their entirety.

I've just seen 8894 go past my house with its 350, every 12 minutes decals having been removed! Does make you wonder whether they're gonna go back to the drawing board with this or drop it quietly altogether seeing as it's had so much bad publicity!

Seen some photos on Flickr of UX’s VW1570 & TE1573 with their respective branding having already been removed.....!!! Likely that they're adding new stickers to correct the frequencies? (Actually, VW1570 had the 607 branding which had the right frequency - someone did mention Southall being missing from the side though). Common sense seems to have prevailed regarding the rear stickers on the VWHs.
The mismatch in frequencies seems to have been due to the designers having the wrong frequency data, and are due to be replaced as soon as possible.

Possibly they may use the same stripes and route number typeface as the one that are used on the Barkingside routes instead.
