Question. Is the 474 rerouting at North Woolwich still taking place and if so, where would the bus stop be for buses towards Canning Town because if it continues to serve Stop A, I think it might struggle making a right turn towards Pier Road and Store Road unless if a new bus stop is implemented? Also is the 262 being cutback to Gallions Reach Shopping Park or Gallions Reach Station? The only associated North Woolwich changes to the 474 happened upon contract renewal in 2018. Buses towards Manor Park haven't been double running on Pier Road for years now, and the buses seem to cope fine turning from Store Road into Pier Road. Buses towards Canning Town do still double run on Pier Road. No associated 474 changes westbound in North Woolwich.

So here we are the end of a era for me as the 241 is rerouted from tomorrow. The 241 has been my local route for 32 years! and did seem strange when I was driving behind one this evening to think it will no longer run to Canning Town after tonight.
The route really played a big part of my interest in buses. In the 32 years using the route its seen a huge variety of buses!
1990 - When I started secondary school it used Leyland Titans from WH (Original garage).
1991 - The route converted to single decker using MRL buses! this was a big drop in capacity and used to dread the buses especially if a smaller MR was used. Used to get odd workings of RB, Starriders and Leyland Nationals. MRL
1993 -Converted to DRL Darts and Sunday service introduced. Up until 1993 Route 147 was extended from Keir Hardie to Stratford.
1995 -Converted back to double decker Monday - Saturday using Scanias off route X15 and single deckers from SD on Sundays
2001 - Converted to TAS on paper at least as most of the time the route used VA still.
2003 - Moved back to SD. TAS become the main time with odd single decker workings.
2008 - Moved again to the new WH. Upgraded around 2011 with TA's ex route 5 when that route converted to Hybrid E400s
2011 - 2014 cut to Prince Regent for Crossrail work.

I think the North Woolwich confusion came from a removed entry on Londonroutes.net as below
Also re-routed at North Woolwich via Factory Road and Store Road, instead of part of Albert Road and Pier Road (double run).

Also I'm sure this has been mentioned but another thing of note is this is the first time the 104 has been altered (besides evening/sunday service) in its entire 33 year history!

The changes are finally into use! Will anyone be seeing these changes for themselves I already spent last night observing changes! Hopped on the 104, 241 and 474 for a last trip in their original forms. I'm still sluggish from last night but will be definitely taking a trip on the 104, 304 and 330 later today!

I hardly use buses now but plan to do the 474 and 304 this afternoon. Passed Victoria Dock Road by car this morning and it seemed so busy with buses! Not meet anyone from here before but suspect lots will be about this afternoon.

Normally I would but I’ve other bus related things to tick off, I’ll probably do the changes next month instead

I will be recording the full journey on the 304 this week as well as observing the other changes. And I'll be rushing down to capture the Lizzie Line

It's a shame the titles removed in error for the 300 in Prince Regent wasn't corrected in time for the change! This is one road were things will be confusing initially for passengers.

Just popped into my head, I wonder how Beckton Bus Station is coping with the 101 and 104 now terminating there. The Savage Gardens bus stand may well be used if the Bus Station is packed.
