Toiletless trains blamed for forced door openingsPassengers trapped on Elizabeth line trains for up to four hours were "violently trying to force the doors open" due to a lack of onboard toilets, a report has found.www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c80xzny1jr9o I don't think toilets are practical on what is essentially a Metro service but the main concern is people being trapped for so long and it's not surprising that they forced the doors open, shades of the incident on a Southeastern train at Lewisham a few years ago.

Forgot to mention this a while back.. but I don't like the updated countdown screens at the Central Core. What was wrong with the scrolling connector blobs?

I find this an extremely welcome addition. As a sporadic traveller on the Liz line, usually from Heathrow, I always thought it odd and anomalous that Liz trains didn't announce themselves as such, which would be extremely useful for passengers to differentiate from the Heathrow Express, which did. Glad this has been rectified. They should also add "line" after "...change for Bakerloo..." etc (which on my last trip they seem to have done for Central, and bizarrely Overground which is doubtless a precursor to Mildmay etc but sounds ridiculous, but not the rest). And finally I too get exasperated with the interminable station list spewed out at every stop on Thameslink, which I use regularly for a few stops in North London and care not a fig for the hundreds of calls to Rainham or Sutton. Currently on a Thameslink train right now and I 100% agree with your last statement - it is bitterly annoying and driving me up the wall even after only being on the train for 3 stops!
