Is there a reason TfL fares are different on the tube compared to the Elizabeth Line? For example Zone 3 to Zone 6 is £1.90 on the Underground compared to £2.50 on the Elizabeth Line.

Also just to confirm the interchange from DLR to Elizabeth Line does have ticket barriers.

So folks I've got a tip for anyone using this line. If you are at Liverpool Street and you want to connect onto the Northern line my advice would be to sit in the front carriage if you're coming Canary wharf and Stratford (When it opens) or the last carriage if you're coming from Farringdon.

WiFi is available in the core, however seems to be mostly broken. I managed to connect for a few minutes on one journey out of 6 It depends on your phone, much like the rest of the Underground. Mine had no issues, would connect before we'd even pulled in and wouldn't disconnect until we had fully left. I've spoken to others who also couldn't connect for most journeys. What kind of systems do they use if a 2021 Samsung can't connect?

I have a 2021 Samsung and managed fine, although it also does come down to what WiFi point you use. Virgin Media Wifi is the one that tends to work while WiFi extra is pretty much a dud.

That is a standard TfL Rail 3 zone fare, same as Overground. Imagine it has something to do with being part of the National Rail ticketing scheme.

Or is that at a later date?

I think there was a map released at some point indicating the fare schemes for each route. Most national rail services in North London seem to have the same fares as the tube. With the Elizabeth Line, I thought it was just the Heathrow section that charged more than the tube, due to TFL paying for use of the tunnel into the airport? Or is it also at the Abbey Wood end, with Southeastern/Thameslink already having higher fares?

Also just to confirm the interchange from DLR to Elizabeth Line does have ticket barriers. I didn't take photographic evidence but I did confirm that last week to you. Pretty much anyone travelling on the DLR eastbound at Custom House has seen the same in the past few weeks too...

So today was a day for the history books, so I couldn't not make an excuse to ride the Elizabeth line today!!
After work I headed to Custom House from Whitechapel and my God, what a short but intense experience. The ceiling design over the escalators as you descend looked theatrical, almost evangelic and totally unlike anything the current Tube network has! Futuristic as well as future proof was my takeaway from the overall experience from the platforms and concourses.
It's unfortunate that I don't live closer to their stations but I can't wait to incorporate in the Lizzie line into my normal journeys. Game changer is an understatement, revolutionary is a tad too modest. 🤓

I don’t see the issue with repeating useful information.

Really enjoyed my journey on the Elizabeth Line today. The acceleration on the 345s is so sharp under CBTC it is great. Tottenham Court Road is probably a fav for the curved platform. If you use the tube before or after your journey you can really appreciate the quite nature of the Elizabeth Line. Mostly looking forward to the route connecting at Stratford to speed up my commute even more.
The only nitpick I have would be the on train announcements do not say Line eg. Change for Central and Northern. The only time it says Lines is when the Overground is served.
I would also like to see more artwork at platform level it is a shame that only Whitechapel has this as it really bring character to the otherwise bland space.
All in all it is shame we will not have another line like this for awhile now as this first route is impressive.
