Due to Road Closure by the Police on Arterial Rd West Thurrock some of the 372 are terminating at Aveley and those aren't terminating at Aveley are diversion between Aveley and Lakeside.
I'm not what way its supposed go on diversion but my 372 that I was on From Lakeside went via the 370 route up to Stifford Hill/Stifford Road Junction, then Stifford Road all the way to Aveley, then on to Aveley High Street, then turn left on to Ship Lane and then turn right to Hall Lane to its normal route.

I was wondering why some of them were terminating at Aveley which also explains why it took ages for my 372 to come to the point where I had to walk. Sometimes the Dartford Crossing just screws up somehow so the 372 becomes unreliable where it takes like an hour to come.

The bus lanes by Rotunda in Kingston are closed so buses are going around the one way system.
From Tuesday the High Street is closed for few weeks so more diversions, including an off route liop to the 85 and 371 stand

What routes will use the 85/371 stand during the diversion?

What routes will use the 85/371 stand during the diversion? They are using Brook Street, to college roundabout (yes the bit with cones and lane closures), then Kingston Hall Road, left at end, left again into East Lane, left into Bittoms (past the bus stand for other routes) and right into Kingston Hall Rd I assume buses from stand will pick up on wrong side of Kingston Hall Road at the stop that is normally used for K1 etc

The town centre has been a mess ever since I started studying in Kingston, only now have they finished the work outside the station. Do any routes actually use the stand on The Bittoms?

Don’t think any routes are changing stands during the works The Bittoms stand is not normally used, I think it is emergency use only for routes coming via Portsmouth Road, if Cromwell Road bus station is closed. Police often park vans there rather than use their own car park by some sort of TfL agreement. I assume the stands in Birkenhead Avenue are used in same way if Fairfield bus station is closed. As for the works, after nearly a year a few metres of shared cycle/ pedestrian space and about 50m of cycle lane is all the public can use, and in a piece of genius, the finished bits of the cycle route are currently all isolated from each other, as random parts of the route were done first.

That's a long diversion. Can northbound buses turn right after Kennington to go past Oval? They can indeed as I believe the traffic light sequence even caters for that right turn.

The only prohibited turns at the massive junction are: No right turn from Brixton Road into Camberwell New Road No left turn from Brixton Road into Kennington Road No right turn from Camberwell New Road into Brixton Road No right turn from Camberwell New Road into Kennington Road No left turn from Clapham Road into Harleyford Street (off topic but I wonder why this road was renamed as it was originally called Harleyford Road South - similarly, Harleyford Road was originally Harleyford Road North)

[1] - heard it from the bus radio on the 118 I was on the 436 last night and was already on Camberwell New Road when the call went out, heading to Lewisham. Was told by iBus to use Wyndham Road. When the NTC arrived they shortened the diversion to Camberwell Rd & Wyndham Road. Apparently a collision between a Police car and a P.H.V, or UBer as we like to refer to them as.

The 372 is being diverted again! It ain’t serving Wennington Road due to gas works being done. It’s beibg diverted from 21st of May till 25th of May meaning that the nearest stop is Rainham Station and St Paul’s Close.
Soooo convenient for me 😒
