Due to crane operation in Kenton. The 183 is being diverted via North Wembley and Wembley Park. This is actually due to a burst water main in Kenton which happened on Sunday, the road is still shut due to repairs being carried out. H9/10 currently on diversion via the A409 returning to LOR at Northwick Park Hospital. H18/19 also on diversion via the A409 and Locket Road returning to LOR at Belmont Circle. 114 also on diversion via the A409 and Locket Road running to Belmont Circle before returning to LOR at Kenton Library.

More bus diversions in Kingston from next week, Portsmouth Road is closed Southbound It appears that the 85 and 371 wont be able to reach their stand, except with a long diversion (maybe via Palace Road as used by Kingston University buses, but this isn't clear) Doesn't indicate where the buses that use the High Street or Kingston Hall Road will go (link refers you to TfL, which has no planned disruptions in its buses status info for these routes when you click on 22nd onwards (next week) www.kingston.gov.uk/info/200382/go_programme/1364/kingston_high_street/2TfL status link with no disruption after 21st

I saw Kingston-bound 85s coming down Kingston Hall Road, turning left into High Street, East Lane, The Bittoms, then back into Kingston Hall Road. Perhaps this time buses will use a similar diversion but instead just turn straight onto High Street and continue on?

I hadn't considered using stand in reverse direction, although it would be located on right side, buses would have to miss the first stop in Kingston Hall Road

Due to overnight roadworks (2000-0500), routes 114, 140 and 395 are being diverted between Harrow and South Harrow via North Harrow and Rayners Lane, but not serving South Harrow Station. Routes H9 & 10 are diverted around South Harrow via Roxeth Green Avenue and Shaftesbury Ave. The 258 is being curtailed at Roxeth Hill.

I was on a 140 that did this diversion last night; however the driver had misunderstood the instructions, and went on an additional detour via Eastcote Lane and Field End Road (282 route), missing out the South Harrow area completely and returning to line of route at Northolt station. I think he eventually realised his mistake, and once we were back on track he flagged down an oncoming 140 to confirm what the diversion was supposed to be. In fairness he did a great job of informing passengers of the diversion, speaking to each passenger individually as they boarded.

The bit in South Harrow missing out the station I feel is odd. I don't know why the 140 & 395, 114 less so, don't do the loop through the bus station to serve the stops at the station on LOR in both directions.

Because that would add another couple of minutes onto a bus that's probably already late?? How long's this diversion on for?

Granted however the centre of South Harrow was therefore left completely unserved by any bus going to/from Harrow with the nearest stops a good 5-10min walk away, as many people travelling from Harrow found out. Failing that, a temporary stop could have been set up close to the centre to enable some sort of connection.
I believe it was just for that night, unless the roadworks were behind schedule.
