The 391 could stay every 15 mins and be converted to DD to give a bit more cacapcity.

The 391 could stay every 15 mins and be converted to DD to give a bit more cacapcity. Cutting the 391 back to Hammersmith is a shambolic idea. As it is, there's a lot of pressure on the 27, 267, 391 and H91 on Chiswick High Road. Once the 27 gets cut back to Hammersmith Grove, passengers will struggle to board the three remaining routes. Once the 391 is withdrawn between Fulham, Sands End and Hammersmith, the bus passengers on Chiswick High Road will have lost very useful bus connections to get them across Hammersmith. Hammersmith is increasingly becoming a place to turf people off buses which really angers me, especially if you have to endure the hassle of getting from one bus station to the other.

Good to see that a link to Chiswick Business Park will be retained with the 440. A link from Ealing would have also been useful.
I’ve used 27s a few times to and from the business park, they aren’t as busy as the other routes (but of course they have had a chance to pick up).
I do agree it’s a shame to cut back the through links east of Hammersmith.

I wish they'd drop the idea for the 391. The route is just about coping to Sand End every 15 mins with SD. Instead I'd just DD the 218 instead and not so do the 306 instead.

Might be a bit late for that if some of the more wild rumours turn out to be true. You have probably noticed that there has been no orders announced for 272 contract in May. Basically the rumour is that part the 391 fleet goes to 272 and the 306 gets new electric buses (which I guess will be more BEs operated from S) As always have to wait and see.

Some confusion about frequencies past, present and future of route 391 on here that needs correcting. Past - x10mins M-S daytime, x12mins evenings and Sundays Current - x12mins M-S daytime, x15mins evenings and Sundays Proposed - x15mins M-S daytime, x20mins evenings and Sundays Current demand west of Turnham Green Church is weak, but the curtailment of route 27 should give it a boost on both sides of Hammersmith. The proposed cut is not deserved, especially on Sundays.

I didn't realise it had ever been every 10 mins. I thought it went from every 12 to every 15 a few months ago.

So when is the 224 being shortened to Alperton Sainsbury’s.

I wonder how TfL are going to make room for the 224 at the stand at Alperton Sainsbury’s? Alperton Sainsbury’s doesn’t have enough room for the 79 and 245.

I often see 245s having to stand at their first stop which causes terrible bunching with there only being space for one other bus at the stop so if a crowd of people want one of the 79, 224 or 297 then other buses have to queue behind. I think the 245 should stand in Perivale Garage to alleviate this problem

I'm suggesting the 245 could run out of service from Alperton Sainsbury’s to Perviale Garage to stand. Alternatively, the 245 could stand in Alperton Garage but then it would have to double back to get between its stand and the first stop

So when will the 440 be extended to Wembley? And when will the 224 be withdrawn between Alperton Sainsbury's and Wembley? Consultation for both says that they will proceed in early 2019 it now gone pass early 2019. So what's the problem?

PV garage is very close to the 245's terminus at Alperton, hence why the 245 (and previously 79) were chosen to run from there.
