Any idea what route they'll be officially allocated to? Most probably the 353, given its buses were affected the most What type is that bus?

I wouldn’t necessarily believe everything you read, understandably the investigation is not over, there are still a number of lines of enquiry. Just happened to start in a vehicle next to a public right of way ... my immediate reavtion was to make arson favourite although never stated it, but did try to rubbish the original air con suggestion.

Well well well, I appear to have been spotted on my photography rounds! I remember coming in on E225, snapping 19799 on 664 and then waiting to ride E4 to Orpington, think I asked about how late it was. It did come in the end! 20 minutes late, but the whole boarding arrangement was so confusing. I did wonder if it turned up in the end. It’s supposed to leave before the second 664 but there must have been some confusion over the closure of Jail Lane Did E4 have ticketing equipment? I assume this is no longer at MB - would be good to see the photo!

Maybe the 353 could keep the Scania's to the end of its contract.

Maybe the 353 could keep the Scania's to the end of its contract. Highly doubt it. The ex-405 Scanias are still stopgap measures and I reckon that MB will remove them again as soon as possible. When that will be - I'm not sure

An email i got from Ensignbus where all the fire damaged vehicles went: All are going to be cut up on site and disposed of in skips except MEC56/MEC60 which will be disposed of by the insurers once they have done their forensic examinations.

Apologies if this has already been done, I can't be bothered to wade through 11 pages of posts.
Complete list of the vehicles lost (courtesy of "Bus News", LondonsTransport Yahoo group):
Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 : E60 (LX07BYF), E94 (LX08EBP), E211 (SN61DDF), E224 (SN61DFD), EN33* (SN11 BMU), EN37* (SN11 BOU) Alexander Dennis Enviro 400H : EH18 (SN61DCE). Mercedes Citaro : MEC54 (BF65HUP), MEC56 (BF65HUV), MEC60 (BF65HVB). Alexander Dennis 9.6m Enviro 200 : SEN21 (YX61FYT).
* EN33/37 are former Tower Transit DN33612/33633 and had been refurbished for the new route 51 contract, so never operated in service by Go-Ahead.
All have now been removed from Orpington Garage (as noted above, all will be scrapped at Ensignbus except MEC 56/60 which will be examined forensically and removed by insurers).

So does this mean even SEN21 and E224 are not coming back?
