Probably the best place to out it. The GOBLin extension is delayed until 2022 When in 2022? The date given on the TfL website is Autumn 2022, so probably around this time next year

Saw an overground train in platform 10A at Stratford. How often does this occur?

Saw an overground train in platform 10A at Stratford. How often does this occur? Sometimes if both platforms 1 and 2 are occupied, I have seen trains normally use platform 11 and sometimes 12 but there have been some rare occasions of 10A also been used

I was on an Overground train a few hours ago at around 8am where the train ran fast (skipping stations) between Camden Road and Stratford due to earlier delays.

They do this at times to make up lost ground because of major delays. Some of the smaller stations unfortunately are the sacrificial lambs when this happens.

In this case, all stations between Camden Road and Stratford were skipped, including big ones like Highbury and Islington. It must have lost a lot of ground for that to occur.

The best way to describe it would be let's say there's 2 buses coming at the same time in most cases the late bus would bypass some stops to let the bus behind mop up the mess by taking the passengers at the stop thus allowing the late driver to make up the lost ground.

Or the bus will show NIS and run along the line of route to fool ibus 😂😂

Once on the 173 in the early 2000s and another time on the 179 in the late 90s 😂😂 and that was before ibus came onto the scene

There's a chance for some rare London Overground track bashing this weekend - Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July. There is no service between Richmond/Shepherd's Bush and Gospel Oak. However there will be a special service between Willesden Junction Low level and Stratford calling at Kensal Rise, Queens Park, Kilburn High Road, South Hampstead then to Camden Road via the Primrose Hill line that is not normally traversed by passenger trains. (normal route and stops between Camden Road and Stratford). Rail replacement buses will operate between Gunnersbury and Camden Road calling at or near all stations. Use the District Line between Richmond and Gunnersbury, and buses 220 or 228 between Shepherds Bush and Willesden Junction. www.ianvisits.co.uk/articles/unusual-london-overground-trips-possible-this-weekend-64211/
