COBO it's clearly not a bus station as I pointed out to yourself before. Bakers Road is open to all traffic and is a regular road managed by Hillingdon. Thanks vjaska I now know understand that it’s not a Bus Station.

I think we can all agree that a railway station where you could neither board nor alight from a train would soon be seen as an impostor, so the same principle must apply to buses. That is why Waterloo could never have been described as a bus station. I believe Cornwell Road, when so many services or part services terminated there, was officially known at one time by LT as Waterloo Bus Stand, a term I don't recollect being used in any other location.

Thanks vjaska I now know understand that it’s not a Bus Station. Although there’s this one announcement at Uxbridge that says “For the safety and security of all passengers, this bus station is covered 24 hours by Closed Circuit Television cameras”. So, this once again reopens the debate as to whether Uxbridge has a Bus Station or if it doesn’t.

So, this once again reopens the debate as to whether Uxbridge has a Bus Station or if it doesn’t. It doesn't reopen anything - the announcement is wrong to label it as a bus station. Not only is Bakers Road a regular road managed by Hillingdon rather than TfL, none of the terminating routes alight there either as the alighting points are on Belmont Road.

Such a hot topic! Very hard to agree on. It's funny as several weeks ago I've decided to make a list of all London bus stations and it turned out to be rather hard. But some were pretty obvious, e.g Stratford and Edmonton. Had some obvious gaps which I filled as the time went by. Even this thread reminded me of some stuff that should've really been there. As I made this before this thread existed, excuse some errors. The # symbol indicates ones outside GLA boundary. The ? mark should be pretty explanatory.
Addington Village Interchange Aldgate Beckton # Bluewater Brent Cross Canada Water Canning Town Chingford Station Crossharbour ASDA Crystal Palace Dalston Junction #? Dartford Station ? Ealing Hospital East Croydon Edgware Edmonton Eltham Station Euston ? Feltham Station Finsbury Park Interchange Finsbury Park Station Golders Green Grove Park Hammersmith (Upper & Lower) Harrow Hatton Cross Heathrow Central Heathrow T5 Hounslow Kingston Cromwell Road Kingston Fairfield # Lakeside Leytonstone Station Leytonstone Grove Green ? Lewisham Station (westbound) Liverpool Street London Bridge ? London City Airport ? Morden (southbound) ? Mortlake (209) North Finchley North Greenwich Orpington Station Peckham # Potters Bar station ? Princess Royal Hospital Putney Bridge Putney Heath # Redhill Richmond ? Romford Queen's Hospital ? Ruislip Shepherd's Bush Interchange # Slough ? Southgate South Harrow # Staines Stratford Stratford City Stratford International ? Streatham Station Tottenham Hale Turnpike Lane Vauxhall Victoria # Waltham Cross Walthamstow ? Walthamstow St James' Street Waterloo # Watford Junction West Croydon ? West Drayton White City Wimbledon ? Uxbridge
I'd personally vote for Wimbledon to be the weirdest one. How can it be called such when it's in such an inconvenient location?? But it does have the magic "bus station" in the name 🤔

Funnily never thought of the crossharbour bus stand as a bus station!

Would potters bar count as a bus station?
How about the 75 when its start being curtailed to west croydon ?

Potters Bar has a similar set up to Watford Junction albeit on a smaller scale, and Chingford actually, and as they both count then PB should also IMO.

If Crossharbour counts, and as it has a dedicated roadway for buses only, and an office for TFL staff, I think it should count, then D8 is another to add to the list. Talking of D8, to make it more useful, and also improving the 135 reliability, I'd swap the routeing of the two between Canary Wharf and Crossharbour.

I think 135 is fine the the way it is; just need to double deck the D6 and do something innovative with the d8!
