No offence to Norwich fans but I hope they don't come back up next season only for them to be relegated again. Hope Leeds finally come up sometime a proper football club. Unfortunately, many clubs do come up from the Championship but are just ill-prepared to compete in the Premier League with lots of teams who just bob up and down between the two leagues. Burnley did go down in 2014/15 only to come back up the following season and they've managed not only to stay up but even managed to qualify for the Europa League one year, credit to them for sticking with Sean Dyche, but they seem be the exception not the norm. Stoke and Swansea both had a few good seasons in the Premier league before going down again. Wolves have done really well both seasons.

congratulations to Leeds United. Great to see them in the top flight again. Fingers crossed Brentford snatch that 2nd spot from West Brom with Fulham or Nottingham Forest winning the play offs - gotta support my London clubs minus one particular one of course. It would also be great if Forest return with the proud history they have and Lamouchi has done a good job as well

I'm sure rif153 would like Brentford to go up as well. When Brentford move stadiums it will put an end to that famous quiz question "Which stadium has a pub on every corner?"

Can you imagine their loss of trade? sad reality is that they will probably now close down. No doubt the local residents will appreciate having their Saturdays back

Can you imagine their loss of trade? sad reality is that they will probably now close down. Won't the regulars just go there before & after the game still given the ground is less than a mile walk from Griffin Park itself?

Yeah but there's redevelopment planned for the area with new homes being built pretty sure the pubs won't stay because of that that.

Yeah Brentford weren't good today when they should have expected to take three points at stoke. With West Brom losing yesterday and Fulham currently winning 2.0 it really does go down to the last day of the season on Wednesday.

Just a point today would have put them in 2nd spot....... they should win at home to Barnsley on Wednesday but need QPR of all teams to do them a favour at West Brom.

Looking at the fixtures on Wednesday I think Fulham probably have the most difficult game who play Wigan Athletic who despite falling into administration haven't lost a single game since the restart. So in my opinion it's between Brentford and West Brom but I think West Brom will win against QPR meaning they will get automatic promotion with just one point in it. My worry is that Brentford might loose it in the playoffs.

Second place is West Brom's to lose now and I can't see them failing to beat QPR unless the pressure gets to them. Brentford will have to pick themselves up for the play offs if they don't make it, it would be a shame if they miss out, they've played some great football this season.

Playoffs are enjoyable to watch but somehow it doesn't seem right that a team that could end up with 84 points finishing third in the table could miss out on promotion to a team with 70 points that finish 6th but that's part of the game I guess.
