Aren't most of the routes around Sevenoaks now being covered by go2, Go-coach's demand-responsive service? I tried to use that last year from Otford to Eynsford. It only gave me the option of waiting three hours for the service 2 (old 421). Haven't used it since. Isn’t Eynsford outside the ‘Go2’ area and the area is only really local to Sevonoaks. Maybe why you were pointed towards the regular bus service 2. Not sure how app based buses services work, would a bus get sent to Westerham or Otford to just pick up one person? How do you plan if you want to be somewhere by a particular time? I use Westerham as an example as it is on the Go2 network, that bus that picks you up could be sent down backroads to Ide Hill to pick someone else up, this will add 20 minutes to your journey. So you could miss that train or a appointment. |

I know the 2 (Sevenoaks-Swanley) returned. Thanks for confirming - I wanted to make sure I didn't dream what I said earlier so appreciate that and I also went back and watched the vid again and Andy (general manager of Go Coach) mentioned that alongside Route 2 you mentioned, the 1, 5 & 6 were also returning. Routes 1, 2, 6 and the Sevenoaks Weald section of route 5 are replaced again by go2 from Monday 18th January. Arriva 402 provides an alternative service to Hildenborough and Tonbridge. www.go-coach.co.uk/Timetable |

Go Coach are bringing back route 3, from Sevenoaks to Orpington with an extension this time to PRU Hospital in Locksbottom.
