Can I ask why? The route goes nearer to PL than AL. Of course AL would not be a bad place to run the route from but I wouldn't say it's "Better" I admi I didn't know exactly where PL is based. Given that from what you say route 493 goes nearer PL than AL, then yes it is fine as PL after all. I also quite like the division whereby traditional routes run from traditional garages (eg 152, 200 from AL) and modern routes from modern garages (so 493 from PL would be an example of this ) Quite hard to say where it is without saying it's near Plough lane lol. Nearest stop is Wimbledon Stadium and it's also near a Lidl. I walked past it the other week (before lockdown) it's not very big and doesn't look like it has any maintenance facilities

Indeed you are correct there is a Vauxhall dealership very close to PL.

Yep was aware that AL did PL engineering so not quite sure why I mentioned about it not have maintenance facilities 😁. Yeah Haydon Road Station is a good place to pinpoint where it is.

Me in the local area, it was good times when the 10 ran via Warren Street with it’s LTs and the 27 with its ADHs.
Now the LTs on the 27 are not nice and it’s at an operator that feels so weird because its far away. I wish that the 10 remained with it’s LTs and the 27 got new electrics

Its so frustrating we never got to see a VH on the 27, the 94's former batch were blinded for the 27 as well as the 10.

I hope that Abellio put a MMC/E400H on the vehicle, at least I can try ride it. Probs will not be blinded though.

QB have done well with their LT allocations, before they took on the 24 and 27 I wondered which route would be the first to see conventionals when the LTs played up as ADHs appeared on the route almost daily at RATP but now its fully LT sadly and Abellio's LT allocations are very stringent. Mind you the 27 is allocated a different batch of LTs to what it waw at RATP.

Also same for the 267, SPs used to appear on the route nearly every day but since Abellio took over no double deckers have gone on the route of course only have one type of double decker at TF might just have something to do with it.

The blindsets due for the 270's new buses should provide a clue as to whether E400s will be equipped as such.

261 back to metrobus
(On the flip, the route I’m glad that went back home was the 172 back to go ahead)

Another reason why I miss the H13 under London Sovereign was because something that was nice to see was the community that had been built up over the years until the route was lost. The drivers knew the passengers and vice versa. It was something that was really nice to see. Most of the drivers at SO didn't go with the route to Metroline, so this cute community came to an end when the changeover date came (not too sure if it did). After the route passed to Metroline, I haven't been on it too often so I'm not sure how things are now. But what I do know is that the driver/passenger community built up on the H13 under London Sovereign, it'd be great if the same happened on more local routes across the network. Are there any other routes that have this?
