I'd like to see the 481 back to Abellio. I'd also like to see Metroline expanding into RATP territory in SW London like Twickenham, Richmond, Kingston Metroline aren’t all that good. They’re not awful but there is nothing special at all about them and the service reliability is suffering now. It’s been great having better buses on the 117 and AV run it very well. If the 117 got retained by Metroline it would have gotten new buses.

But it’s nice having a unique batch on it.

I feel like they can struggle with some routes being worked from bases that aren't best placed for the route (cough cough 316 at WJ), but RATP cannot run routes at all. When all their (RATP's) graphs look nothing short of horrific on routes like 288, which GR ran like clockwork (GR was not perfect either mind), Metroline struggling a little with the 117 seems like nothing. However, I do like the MCMs but wish drivers would put them to their paces as 117 drivers seem to be very slow. The graphs are just that , graphs. I use both firms routes and there isn’t much difference at all. I don’t know why RATP gets such bad press on here because the reality isn’t as bad as gets made out. Metroline’s performance is actually on a downward trajectory whereas RATP is up slightly. Whether that will continue who knows. Having said that I’ve never been hugely inconvenienced by either firms routes, so as I said it’s all down to preference and individuals opinions. Ps - slow 😀 I always fall asleep on the 83 or 483 No operator is perfect and all face traffic issues. I'm pretty sure that Ratp are the worst operator in terms of reliability

Although Metroline are my favourite operator, as they have a solid big chunk largely to themselves I prefer them not operating away from that area. I even like routes heading out of their area to be run by operators at the other end. I therefore agree with routes 34 and 65 being Arriva and RATP for example.

226 and 232 back to Metroline. I can see 232 coming back. Still feels weird seeing WS dead runs to St Rapheals

The WS's will remain on the 232 until the end of it's contract. If Go-Ahead go onto retain it upon renewal then I see it being awarded with new electrics.

109 and 159 back to Arriva.
Would be nice to see Arriva win some of the Croydon/Sutton/Merton routes they've lost over the years - 407, 264 etc. The old CN garage routes.

103 and 175 back to Stagecoach London I actually thought this would happen due to RM losing the 248 a while ago but no they were all retained. I was also expecting the 150 to pass to GAL.

322 back to a sensible operation control and a lot less strikes, in my memory that'd be Go-Ahead Was born after Arriva lost it so can't judge their past on the unreliable Elephant & Castle-Crystal Palace routeing
