But that wouldn't have removed a route between Cricklewood down to Marble Arch thou which was really TFLs aim. Between the 6/23/98/332 most of the links are maintained without the 16 now. Surely it would have caused less inconvenience if the 332 link to Paddington was lost instead? Possibly but that would still leave another route that they don't need between Edgware Road Station and Marble Arch. Unfortunately however its taken apart and put back together it seems the original 16 was going to draw the short straw.

It's a relatively short distance between Edgware Road Station and Marble Arch, in fact it's strange that this went ahead whilst more obvious proposals such as the Putney routes didn't.

N161 - new night route from Chislehurst to Holborn via current day route to Westcombe Park, 177 to Greenwich, 47 to Monument (but direct on the A200, 521 to Bank. Possibly extended to Orpington station via route 61. To give Chislehurst another night route besides the N136

To give Chislehurst another night route besides the N136 I’d have it go to Orpington via the 61 and route it to Oxford Circus instead of Holborn via the N381 and 12, otherwise a good idea.

The only thing I would look at in reference to the N136 is timings so there is an even gap with it and the 36N along the Victoria- New Cross corridor.

N32: Extended from Edgware to South Harrow via route 142 to Stanmore Broadway and H12 to South Harrow. To link Stanmore and Edgware Stations at night and to feed people along the entire H12 routing to Stanmore Station for the Jubilee night tube and the night tube on the Northern line at Edgware.

N20 - weekend only night bus route taking over day route between Debden and Bakers Arms, then 56 to Angel Islington, 341 to Waterloo. To give people in Debden and Woodford Green a night link to the tube at Loughton and Debden.
Current N20 to be renumbered to something like N10

To give people in Debden and Woodford Green a night link to the tube at Loughton and Debden. Current N20 to be renumbered to something like N10 Debden to Hackney Central would definitely be reasonable enough! Demand won't be as far all the way to Debden any further than Angel probably. You could suggest a N56 instead between Debden and Bart's but all the way to Waterloo wouldnt be useful, especially on Office block filled 341 routing down Clerkenwell and Fleet Street.

The 163 would be a good route to convert to 24 hours - it runs through massive areas of housing that do not have any sort of night service.
I could see the K2 also being a decent night route since Berrylands is a very isolated area with few connections and Kingston is busy even at night and also would connect the route to other night buses in basically every direction.

I'm not sure what demand there would be on the K2, it goes through residential areas so probably not!

N157: Blackheath, Royal Standard - Morden Via: 202 LOR from Blackheath to Crystal Palace, 157 LOR from Crystal Palace to Morden.
Reason: A lot of areas along the 157 and 202 go without a night service such as St Helier, Carshalton, Wallington, South Norwood, Lower Sydenham, Hither Green, Lee, Blackheath

N250: Brixton - New Addington Via: N250 LOR to Thornton Heath Pond, 64 LOR to New Addington
Reason: Covers two routes at once rather than just one, and could possibly save a bus. Also means that 64 will not need to be 24 hour.

I'd say it's better to have night routes from these areas going towards London rather than link various places in London that don't need linking at night
