N250: Brixton - New Addington Via: N250 LOR to Thornton Heath Pond, 64 LOR to New Addington Reason: Covers two routes at once rather than just one, and could possibly save a bus. Also means that 64 will not need to be 24 hour. I doubt this is needed

I doubt this is needed It's two routes merged into one and saves a couple of buses by removing the unnecessary overlap between Croydon and Thornton Heath Pond, a sensible way of making savings.

64N and N250 are two quick night routes which can easily be merged. And what do you have to back up your “doubt” Hopper fare means that commuters will travel at no extra cost Why cause commuters the hassle of having to switch buses at night when there can be a route that does the two at once. I’m pretty sure most night routes in London are just two routes merged together which is a whole lot easier and cheaper

It's two routes merged into one and saves a couple of buses by removing the unnecessary overlap between Croydon and Thornton Heath Pond, a sensible way of making savings. Do you really think a meaningful saving is going to come from making this change? There is no other need to merge the two routes especially as the overlap is small so unless you have hard sums, whats the point.

Providing the West Ruislip branch of the Central Line with a night service. For the N7 I'd have it run direct via the 282 and 114 which speeds up journey times. I do think that it is a shame that Ruislip has no night buses. The problem is that I don't think that there will be enough demand for a night service to exist. There's no night life in Ruislip and you might get a few night commuters but not enough to justify a service. Your N395 is incredibly indirect and it would take ages end to end! I'd rather the West Ruislip branch got a night tube service although I'd imagine that this would be quite expensive to run.

There’s no night life but people do live there maybe people would want to go to the Central London or Uxbridge or Ealing to get to the night life or maybe they have a shift where they have to work the night like a hospital staff or work at a post office sorting mail or a factory worker or bouncer. A route doesn’t have to be direct to be useful you look at the 182, the 186 and etc for that. How do you know that there ain’t night life in Ruislip? Well anyway people in Ruislip can use the night buses to take them to night life elsewhere.

Regardless I don't think that tfl have enough money to be implementing night routes apart from ones that existed before Covid and had good loadings. The only one in that area I'd consider is the N114 and possibly an extension to Uxbridge

And used to take the 114 night bus on the weekends it would be nice but the 278 could also get the night route as it already starts quite early and ends late. So it would only be adding like an extra 3-4 hours onto the timetable. I think the N114 would have enough demand if it was extended to Uxbridge. Or alternatively the N7 was extended to Ruislip.
