Actually can’t remember but did the 114 actually do Weekend 24hr? or did this get cancelled before Covid.
Honestly, I think the 114 should have its own night service.
N114: Edgware - Uxbridge Mill Hill Broadway - Edgware via Route 221 Ruislip - Uxbridge via Route 278, N207
Covers tube stations where not served by night tube etc.
Again though, like most routes, we won’t know if this will be beneficial unless a trial?

Yes the 114 had a weekend night service. Assuming it didn’t do well then? It was suspended during covid like the other weekend night services not because it didn’t do well. Whether it did well I don’t know.

Interesting, hoping there is a similar case to the 123/158 with the 114. Yet to see what will happen. The 114N started off with strong patronage and drastically tailed off before Covid. The 123 and 158 in contrast had strong, consistent patronage throughout its years of operation.

icl, I predict that the 114 night service would return as a 24-hour daily service along with the 123, 158 and 486 and all other weekend night routes.

Tbh some only really had a purpose by linking a night tube station and I'd say the 132 would be in that category. Same with the W7 really. Most is served by night routes at Muswell Hill and Crouch End. Even it pains me to say when I have often pointed out the glaring gap between Sutton and Croydon that a large amount of the 154 demand would have come from people continuing on from the Northern line to St Helier and Sutton.

I don't think there's enough justification for a 7 day night service although it's useful to have it when the night tube is there

Route 260 because there is no link between Willesden and Cricklewood to Golders Green at night

Route 260 because there is no link between Willesden and Cricklewood to Golders Green at night Why should there be? What if someone works late shifts or early morning shifts in Willesden and lives in Golders Green. They have no other choice.

TBF, you could apply that to just about any route but obviously, it's not feasible to do so . In essence, is there any particular demand for such a link over other routes in London?
