Where I work in a school we are going to be partial closed tomorrow Sounds as if all schools will be closed later today. My university closed yesterday because of the outbreak, contemplating whether it may be worth returning home early or wait until my booked departure at the end of next week No signs of closure at my school, although that may change as so many have been isolating, for example a class of 25 students only had 8!

I noticed less school kids in general on buses, meaning they're not going to school or parents telling them not to go. But then these same parents take them for a stroll down overcrowded supermarket. Insert confused face gif here.

Reading Buses has announced that all routes will go to a Saturday timetable on Mondays to Fridays from Monday 23rd March. The only exception will be Greenwave which will have supplementary journeys to Green Park, Reading International Business Park and Mereoak Park & Ride. School routes were to have continued whilst schools remained open but we now know that will not be the case. Also the additional night journeys that operate on Friday and Saturday nights only on routes 17 and 21 will be suspended. Monday-Friday time restrictions will continue to apply to ENCTS passes.
The additional 21a short journeys too and from the University were suspended as of today, Wednesday 18th March.

If school routes won't run we should see them out and about on "Normal" routes also will they be classed as spares?

My one recurring thought on this coronavirus crisis is that I literally can't believe we are all living through this. It's almost like an apocalyptic movie which the whole world is starring in. This whole event just seems quite ridiculous yet very scary at the same time.

TransPennine Express are running a reduced timetable effective from tomorrow. All Leeds-Huddersfield-Manchester Piccadilly stoppers are being reduced to once every two hours with some Liverpool to Scarborough services being cut too.

It does feel like we're living in some kind of horror movie. This time last week I certainly did not think any of the measures in place would actually happen, but I'm sure we will get through this and I'm sure only good things will happen after going through an intensely bad phase of time such as this.

My biggest worry is if what we are doing don't suppress the virus but have to remain positive.
