What on earth does Coronavirus have to do with providing WiFi to everyone on a train? And the worst thing is that they can get away with it because there's no competion. Seems like coronavirus is being used as excuse for everything now. Past. Teacher. Where's your homework? Student. Dog ate it. Future. Teacher. Where's your homework? Student. As a result of coronavirus I am not longer able to complete any homework you give to me.

Not quite sure how long this has been on the website, but alongside the list of stations to avoid TfL have also provided a list of Bus stops to avoid. These only seem to be the towns they are located in however so I would assume they mean avoiding the station/town centre stops of the named locations
Nothing there out of the ordinary I imagine, these are often areas talked about on the forum for overcrowding.

I have noticed my local DLR station is gradually getting much busier, trains seem to be carrying a lot more passengers outside of the peak.

Did have to laugh at the news this evening when it reported on people returning to the office today because of the air conditioning. Just goes to show really how much fear there really is about returning to work!

I would definitely return to the office right now for the top spec air con. I have my own office so I could put it low and freeze all day.

I do hope not many people have been affected, by the looks of it, the driver seems to have been impacted the most. My condolences are with the family of those involved.

A very late update from TfL this week.
Only a handful of bus routes are not yet operating a normal Monday to Friday service... Saturday service: 25, 55, 145, W14 Saturday service with extra AM journeys: 174, 496 Sunday service: 425 Sunday service with extra AM journeys: 58, 158, 362, 472 Special service: 507, 521 Special 7-8 minute service: 13 Special 12 minute service: 69 Special 15 minute service: 236 TfL's Bus changes webpage no longer lists any bus routes running at lower-than usual frequencies.
Maybe everything's finally back to normal...

Seen it reported elsewhere that 200 extra buses will be needed for extra school buses in September.

It was suggested Sulivans need an additional 10 buses for school services. I wonder if other routes could have slight reductions to release buses. I'm thinking high frequency routes.

I was wondering where the extra buses will go. Every school route will likely need its capacity doubled so I guess their PVRs will be doubled, should be easier than bolstering full time routes. In such case Stagecoach should in general be alright off as they'll probably need to source a few spares but in the grand scheme it shouldn't be a huge amount. Go Ahead might very we'll struggle in a case like this, especially with all the Romford school routes.

Go Ahead are actually lucky to have the 405's old buses and the private hire buses available to use as extras 😄
