I have to use public transport to get everywhere (I don't have a car), luckily in a few days due to work temporarily closing I will not have to leave the house anyway. Also luckily in my area the buses have been pretty quiet because of the fears of the virus. Tomorrow will probably be the last day I need to use public transport the most (After it will be straight there and back journeys for a few days before closure). Will need to go to Kingsbury, then onto Brent Cross, then onto Henlys Corner, then onto GG before coming back home - Partly for work, partly to run some errands before any lockdown happens. I don't tend to go around riding buses for fun anyway, apart from maybe the odd excursion here and there, but never stray out of my area. Tomorrow I will be going as quick as possible - Hopefully everything is still quiet by tomorrow (Which judging by the past week it will be), the less contact with others the better.

Sky News leaking this, it will create more panic buying.
They are reporting transport could be restricted to Key Workers from the weekend and London will be in lockdown with shops closing.

All night tube suspended until further notice. Certain stations will also be closing altogether for now, though not confirmed which ones yet.

Not sure if everyone will take the steps but I wonder if we as the enthusiast community should also take some steps. I've seen and heard elsewhere that enthusiasts are still quite adamant on going on to ride buses despite the Government's advice that non essential travel should be stopped and despite that we all love buses it's hardly essential to joyride on them. It certainly can increase the chances of contracting the infection as well as passing it on to people. However end of the day it is each to their own. Would be interesting to know everyone's thoughts on this. I got snapped at Bromley South today. If you are on here id like to see the pic lol

I've been out this evening and traffic levels seemed no different than in normal circumstances. There are rumours about some sort of London wide lockdown coming this weekend.

This is dependent on where you are in London - Brixton has much been emptier than usual all week other than certain routes like the 2, 109, etc. Traffic has been very quiet all week as well with the roads at times deserted.

Yes without causing an argument (i hope) people need to make an effort to read older posts to make sure something isnt being duplicated. Rushing in without checking to try and be first causes issues.

Would be interesting to know everyone's thoughts on this. I was debating it at the start of the week but I've decided to adhere to the advice and not travel anywhere that isn't essential so I'm now pretty much confined to Brixton period until the foreseeable as everything I need is there such as work & amenities.

I especially would have thought that Heathrow Airport stations would have been closed.

I don't want to cause another petty argument on this forum because there has been a lot recently. There is nothing wrong about reaping something twice in a major issue such as this.

Really don’t see what difference closing a handful of stations is gonna achieve...especially when most of the busiest/overcrowded ones remain open.
