Martin Kenyon, a 91-year-old man who additionally received the Pfizer vaccine was interviewed by CNN yesterday. He seems like a very polite and nice man, but no wonder Americans perceive all of us Brits as posh ! But however, like most of us, he knows about the horrendous parking in London, saying that he "couldn't d*mn well find anywhere to park [his] car" .

Looking more and more likely London will be heading into tier 3 in a week or so.
Personally not surprised after seeing how people acted during the so called lockdown. I went to Romford at the weekend and was surprised just how busy it was! I have seen photos of Oxford Street too and that was madness! Yes I know I was out so can't say much but I went to a few shops and came home, I was a hour max.
The worrying thing is the infection rate is high already, I imagine it will be even worse once the effect of pubs/ restaurants opening is realised.
I think lockdowns are not the way forward anymore. You need to go out otherwise you’ll go insane.

Zero social distancing - blatant mixing outside of the rule of 6 inside venues . The things I see in my place of working is shocking! people can't even be bothered with a really easy one way system or wear a mask apart from when they enter the building then when out of sight its off.

If only all pubs were like that..... after a few pints social distancing goes out the window.

If only all pubs were like that..... after a few pints social distancing goes out the window. Social distancing is out window without any pints at Primark! Which is safer?

My partner didn't have any problems in Primark, somebody was on the door limiting numbers, hand sanitiser, face masks etc.... no different to the average supermarket.

Well to be honest when I was going through Central London prior to the November lockdown the pubs were far worse than that picture of Primark. The queues were so bad and there was such a lack of social distancing that people were forced to walk in the road. Not to mention we all know the state Oxford Circus found itself in at 10pm every night and obviously the Cricket match at Peckham happened. I think the issue is that pubs shouldn't be made to loosen up to the level of shops, but shops should tighten up to the level of pubs. The obvious issue is that it's a lot harder to police some shops due to their immense size but I really think that they should combat it in some level. But then now the vaccine deployment has started this should hopefully all soon be history.

My partner didn't have any problems in Primark, somebody was on the door limiting numbers, hand sanitiser, face masks etc.... no different to the average supermarket. But pubs do all those things you mention currently. It was the queues to get in ... no point having great entry procedures if it has been spread about by customers while queueing to get in, with social distancing not practiced or enforced. Just seems highly unfair the little businesses are getting penalised at the expense of irresponsible multi-nationals
