Oh my, 7 whole months. How do you manage!? Tell that to the people who have dead relatives who now have to go a lifetime without seeing them, rather than just 7 months. But do you really care about how sad I've been feeling due to not seeing them. No because you're a sad troll who would rather see people's lives deteriorate. No point living if you can't live your best life (ie with restrictions). Might as well live your best life hence with no restrictions. I'm not going to die with covid, neither will my friends But the people you spread it to might. Sorry you feel sad for not seeing your friends but honestly just grow up. People are losing friends and relatives to this disease and have to go into work the next day and you are here claiming the virus won't kill you.

It just genuinely shows how selfish you are when you would rather people die instead of you not seeing your friends one evening. I would argue you’re being selfish demanding for more restrictions, hope you can afford private healthcare I can't, the NHS is wonderful and this is why we need to protect it rather than overwhelming it.

People have lost loved ones due to suicides in lockdowns, people have lost relatives with cancer, yet you care nothing about that.

So you think I should live the rest of my life in isolation? Yes there is a virus but you've been traumatised/scaremongered too much by the media. We can't live like this forever you know.

Yeah well newsflash going into a never ending cycle of lockdowns won’t protect the wonderful NHS now will it? It’s a basic fact which I’m amazed you cannot grasp

I've not been traumatised by the media, I've been traumatised by what I've seen myself in hospital. Then you should quit your job and find another one. You will be less traumatised that way.

I don't think you should be telling people what they should and shouldn't be employed in, that's too far, especially when telling them they should quit their job Not gonna lie I do think something needs to be done about this thread.

So if we all did that who will keep the health service running? No no, only you should quit. Then we can have one less person on this forum scaremongering about the virus You are actually someone who is so selfish its unreal. You are happy to kill people by spreading this virus, then you claim what I'm seeing on the front line is scaring me so instead of me helping these sick people I should quit and work in a pub or something. Well let me tell you that everyone in a hospital is traumatised, everyone in hospital is suffering. Just on Monday we had staff breaking down and crying because they couldn't bare to see all this returning to square one. But you don't care do you? All you care about is seeing your friends. All you care about is those 2 hours. Not those lives lost, not the people giving up their lives so that one day you will live more free. You don't care about them do you? I go into work everyday scared that I might catch Covid and I might spread it to someone I love, but I go in because I know if I don't go in that many people will lose out on vital treatment. Many people have given up their lives for the past two years, doctors, nurses, technicians, volunteers and clinical support staff have given up everything just so that you might soon have a day as close to normality as possible. But you don't care. Tomorrow myself and many other hospital workers will go in to be told that there are even more Covid positives on the floor, they will not turn around and go home. They will fight to the end and people like you will be who reaps the rewards. I hope you finally get this now.

There is 2 sides to the debate, pro restrictions and against restrictions. You're obviously on the other side of the debate, now I'll give my side. If you keep restricting people then they may end up in hospital anyway because they self harmed or they attempted suicide. If you keep restricting people then they will lose their jobs and the economy will crash. You can't just keep doing this because we can't live in a society where it's all stop/start and with people living in isolation. This will cause more social problems, in addition to covid. So by locking down you are creating additional problems. There will still be hospital admitions for other causes like heart attacks and suicides. Quite frankly I'm done speaking to you because you're wasting my time and you're making me lose sleep simply because you're still arguing back.

Maybe you should wake up and smell the coffee that Covid isn’t going anywhere! People have lost loved ones due to suicides in lockdowns, people have lost relatives with cancer, yet you care nothing about that. You keep ignoring the fact that if there are no further restrictions hospitals won't be able to treat cancers. They will be overwhelmed and will only be dealing with Covid again. Hence we have to learn to live with Covid because shutting down everytime is helping no one. I work with vulnerable children with stories to horrific to tell, lockdowns were hell for some of them, and that’s just two schools I worked at, parents losing jobs breaking down crying because they can’t feed their families and this is down to lockdown! Children’s development behind by two years, this is what I’m dealing, there’s a greater good and continuing to our lives on hold for Covid isn’t one of them Spouses trapped in homes with an abusive partner, this is what I hear every day Be thankful you’re in a job because many others aren’t, you get paid regardless,
