Just seen a picture of 10126 being towed away up the A1 looking like it’s been cannibalised. Any idea what happened to it that caused it to end up in this state. 47999 has also been carted away for scrap 10126 was involved in a severe front end collision on the 128 back in February hence why it was withdrawn and been stripped for parts.
As for 47999, not suprised about that going to the scrapyard, despite being a 12reg bus, those 309 dual door Solos looks and feels considerably older than it actually is.

Think the B9TLs will stay till the very end of the D8's contract considering the fact that LI have no issue running the route with them. If they decide to withdraw all the B9TLs, then they could just replace them with E400s displaced from the 86. |

There have been countless examples of buses being delivered ahead of a conversation! The 242 buses have started to be delivered the 86 buses were here months in advance. I am not sure why the D8 keeps coming up time and time again. Why replace buses with similar age buses when the tender is up next year? |

The tender in 2016 was awarded as below for the double decker: —— The one double deck vehicle used on schooldays will be a 2010 built Euro V diesel currently allocated to route 388. —— This suggests to be me the 65 reg was ordered for the 388? Also Andy C confirmed the route is allocated a diesel bus on paper. |
