Yes, the W13’s decker is the sole 65-reg E400 City Are you sure this is correct? The tender in 2016 was awarded as below for the double decker: —— The one double deck vehicle used on schooldays will be a 2010 built Euro V diesel currently allocated to route 388. —— This suggests to be me the 65 reg was ordered for the 388? Also Andy C confirmed the route is allocated a diesel bus on paper. It’s 10116 now apparently, recently changed and I missed it 😂

Tender announcement
More tender results in Selkent
I'm pleased to say we have won back Plumstead's 161 on a five year contract (starting in March 2025) using existing hybrid buses - as well as Kangley Bridge's 181 on a three year contract with existing diesel buses (also from March 2025).
We have also won back Plumstead's 672 on a three year contract (from October 2024), again with existing buses.
All good news, so well done to all involved!
Stay safe Paul

Wonder why the 284 was not announced?

Wonder why the 284 was not announced? The 284 is a separate contract with a different spec of vehicles. However definitely the first time both routes have been awarded on separate dates being in the same Tranche. They were separated on the tender process once under MB.

Wonder why the 284 was not announced? Probably trying to secure a better price. Interesting if the 284 "splits off" from the 181 tender as a 7-year EV award instead to balance out the electrification programme

I think the person who wrote 10116 made a mistake.

There are photos on The Londoner FB group but the buses don't have fleet numbers applied.
