It’s interesting that 257 has taken majority of the e400s off the 275, with the other e400s being off the road. Wonder how the allocations will be like come Monday when it operates a full PVR requirement , hopefully the electroliners turn up by then, and then head back to the 275. Will T keep the MMCs is the big question and officially allocate them to the 275 It’s never been confirmed that the 257 will use Electroliners so it’s not a case of them turning up. LI is operating the 257 for the time being whilst electrification works take place at T and seemingly it’s allocation is 100% E400 operated until such a time that it’s confirmed Electroliners are expected to operate the route from LI it’d take it as the E400s are its allocation for the foreseeable future. AndyC confirmed the move is very temporary and the electrics won’t start from LI. The reply is below. It will only be at LI for a few weeks and then back to Leyton. The new EVs will be introduced in Leyton once the power works are completed and type training has been completed. Buses will continue to be maintained at Leyton, so may swap over at any point - especially as the route is currently curtailed at T anyway.
