It all depends on the cost of repairs versus the cost of vehicle itself. The damage itself doesn't look as severe when the car passes it side on as it does from the rear Bearing in mind it only has a couple of weeks left in service, as the W5 moves to AW on 6th July, this one has seen its last views of Archway! Going to be written off… I know you're probably thinking to yourself it's made disposal for that vehicle much easier now 😂

Works will begin from tomorrow at RM installing new chargers. 84106 has already been retrofitted with a new CCS charging port and I expect the rest of the batch at RM and BK will follow. I believe that the new chargers will be installed in phases installing a small batch of new chargers at a time. Once completed they will rip up the corresponding amount of old chargers and then start on the next batch. This should allow the change to be seamless. It's only taken almost a whole contract to fix but hopefully it'll get there in the end. Regardless of whether the 174 is retained on the next tender or not, the vehicles will be able to used on another contract as most of the routes at RM are due for renewal around the same time and I believe the 174 is unable to get a 2 year extension due to the poor performance of the route.

I reckon so but of course I wouldn't know the ins and ours on that. Of course it has been around for 12 plus years so it's definitely done it's time. A dxmn shame it went out the way it did

Either way, they are self insure, so overall it would cost them whether the bus is written off or repaired

Poor is an understatement to describe the 174 results.

I doubt Go-Ahead will win it - they basically surrendered the Romford area when they closed BE to concentrate further west with RR. It'll probably be a Stagecoach retain most likely IMO.

82019 has strayed onto the 498. Looks like it has done 1 rounder.

Stagecoach have retained the 287 with New EVs and won the 225 from GoAhead. Is the 225 with new electrics, or existing E200s from the W13?

Stagecoach have retained the 287 with New EVs and won the 225 from GoAhead. As much as I appreciate the information (which I really do), must tender results be posted here in operators threads rather than waiting for the full set of results to come out?
