Hasn’t been mentioned yet but W9 will go to Metroline on 21st September Imo its quite sad Stagey wont be having the route long term, was nice seeing another route w them in Enfield and especially with the solos! Although they probably didnt even bid for the route in the first place anyways. Cant blame them though tbh, the route will just take up more space at HK when theyre likely more focused on 242/277/323/D7 electrification I highly doubt Stagecoach ever would have been interested in bidding for the W9, even from AW. They probably only ran the W9's emergency contract as no other operators were able to. HK still has a lot of space since Stagecoach now have Arriva's side of the garage too, and is well located to bid for routes in several areas. Of the upcoming tenders they could go for the 67/106 as already mentioned, as well as the 30 or 73. Plus could take on existing Stagecoach routes like the 55/56/135/236 if space is needed at other garages.

11/12 buses on the 165 are E400s today, conversion is almost complete.

I think it might even turn them into the RATP of the east, operator who's been down on their luck for a little while goes on a rampant winning streak, balloon bursts, reliability falls down the plughole, et cetera et cetera.

I can see it being possible that the 55 could transfer to HK but with the 56 there is really no point, the route doesn’t run even that near HK and would be much better staying at T

It will be odd seeing them in Golders Green and Stamford Hill

It will be odd seeing them in Golders Green and Stamford Hill yeah on the plus side theyre getting the 310 now. Hopefully the route gets kept after the consulation
