Finally had a 58 BZL with interior displays working and then spotted another so there may have been a fix recently. I did not even know that there was a small display at the exit doors for wheelchair users. Those displays will become more commonplace, as it will be a requirement to provide them on new buses in the near future. I hope with it will also come a requirement to get the destination blinds/screens to be programmed to the TfL standard

A draft was produced but never finalised.

I’m not really one to usually complain about blinds but honestly… Just seen a photo on The Londoner of 36038 doing the W9s at Southgate and its literally fully blinded for the 394 in service… and no indication that its a W9 ethier… Its not that hard to at least put some paper bandit on the front! How is the average passenger ever gonna know its a W9. Yes ofc its a temporary contract but there should at least be some acceptable standard!!! If the forums will criticise Arriva/GAL on here for bad blinds then Stagecoach can get the same judgement

See Stagecoach are usually good with blinds and hardly do bandits but when they do them, they make the least effort ever… people were complaining about the 262 & 473s but at least they bothered with papers & slipboards! Whilst Stagecoach are definitely a decent operator, they do seem to get a few non staff members who enjoy putting them on some sort of pedestal above everyone else which has always bemused me

I’ve seen some of the ex-CT Plus vehicles with incorrect blinds (including a 9.6m Enviro200 with a side blind of 26 Waterloo !

As long as the bus runs then I highly doubt the driver will do anything. For drivers it’s probably the ideal situation… as he/she won’t have to stop anywhere as the passengers won’t know!!😂

As long as the bus runs then I highly doubt the driver will do anything. I am not a driver but I am pretty sure it’s their responsibility to make sure the correct blinds are displayed! If they are not on the blind set then at least set the display to blank. Are passengers meant to be mind readers?
