It's nice to see that the ibus is moving to a more train/tube style of notices on the board. My only question is if its stuck in traffic would it update live time or go by how the standard journey would take to get to the next stop. I believe it takes its feed from ibus so would update timings as what controllers would see on estimated prediction on what the bus would do in terms of traffic and how the bus ahead went. I see. That's handy to know.

The Screens on Route 199 are now showing more useful information never seen this before. Why don’t Metroline and Arriva have these?

This will allow better iBus 2 information.

Not sure what's so interesting about it including the 97 though.. The 97 is a DD route operated by Stagecoach, although operated by hybrids can see diesels quite often. If anything, some more could be re-blinded as the E400s have left LI and they are back with their 2 original spares.

It's interesting because it would likely be the first B9TL to include blinds for the 97 given it's been under Stagecoach London operation for many years now and they didn't order any B9TL's. Hopefully, the bus strays a lot onto the 97.

Almost feels like a swap in some way.

Interesting to note… I believe LI transferred older blinds from other Hybrids to most of the 16xxx when they added the 97 to the new blind sets back in March. I assume 16991 was missed and they have added spare blinds from the outgoing E400s which of course have the 97 on them.

No its a completely new set i believe. 16991 already had old streetdeck blinds as seen on the 308 here.. flic.kr/p/2q7qNCiTheres also a few other de-blinded B9s in LI as well so i suspect they’ll also be getting new sets

I actually don’t think they will go on the 97 much. They seem to favour using the 17 reg hybrids & 13101 , 13102 for any shortfall of StreetDecks.
