15 uniterrupted BZL's on the 58 today. Whoppers. Enjoy East London, enjoy. 👍 ..ending what must surely be the most protracted route conversion ever. It's taken almost four months to commission about 20 buses. Normally four weeks would be considered quite a lengthy period to prepare a fleet of that size for service. Does anyone know the reason? Route 58 is probably being converted to Volvo BZL quicker than route 86 was to Electroliner (and quicker than route 106 from T to M in 1985 ).

Not sure if it's already mentioned but according to bus lists, 86190 has been re-registered from LJ24ZNZ to LJ74XOD

Will the Silvertown Shuttle Bus have a route number, or will the blinds simply say 'Silvertown Shutttle Bus', to wherever it goes...?

Nothing has been confirmed at the moment but I think TfL will want to sufficiently distinguish it from regular services to make it clear that cycles can be taken on it and not other routes.

I’d give it a number in the 900s, it’s sort of a mobility route to help cyclists cross the tunnel. Maybe exactly 900

Route 294 currently all terminating at Collier Row, White Hart Lane bus stop, bit of mayhem as up to 4 buses using the bus stop as a stand at one time with 247s struggling to stop there due to the lights right behind the fourth bus and railings along the side of the road beyond the bus stop. 294s always seem to have quite decent times at the stand at Havering Park with sometimes 3 on stand at any given time so makes sense why up to 4 are seen standing with the route cut back due to roadworks.

*cough*cough*533* Forgot all about that thanks for reminding me In reality the 533 has been around for over 5 years now so easy to mistake it for a permanent route.

Not sure if it's already mentioned but according to bus lists, 86190 has been re-registered from LJ24ZNZ to LJ74XOD No. It has not been reregistered. LJ24ZNZ was never registered and became void after 31/08/24 as it had not been registered. LJ74XOD was allocated and has now been registered. just because a vehicle carries a plate with a number on it does not mean that it has been registered. Also the DVLA does not allow a vehicle to be reregistered with a newer plate, as in 24 to 74. Any change of plate can only be with an older plate than the current plate.
