Praying right now this isn't true.. EDIT: Also, why 52? The TVR of the 425 and the 169 would add up to around 38-40 vehicles? Can someone confirm the source for this is LOTS ... some of the info does not exactly add up. Its not real, it was fake. Typically people making up fale tenders and announcements!

It's been said that the source was fake and that nothing was indeed confirmed to be ordered, I think we can move on now

I'm assuming that WH holds all the City Sightseeing fleet for London, however where will it all go once the garage closes? Will a small section remain for it, or is it likely to head to perhaps HK or LI?

I’d have thought that Stagecoach would want to completely vacate West Ham - they have previously alluded to the onerous lease costs for the site. By my reckoning the CS fleet is around 30 strong so not exactly a trivial number of buses to fit in somewhere. There was mention a few months ago of Stagecoach taking on the part of Ash Grove previously occupied by Arriva. I’m not sure if there was any basis to this or whether it was speculation/wishful thinking/total fantasy…

I would guess the Sightseeing buses could go to HK. I understand BW has some buses at the moment but wondering if they will need to move when chargers are installed for the 425 as the garage is very full even with night buses on the 25, N8 and N277.

Volvo BZL 86181 (LJ24 ZNP) is in a Poppy Appeal wrap. This is the first of the batch for the D7 at HK, but which are currently working out of LI on routes 58 and 678. Photo (not mine): flic.kr/p/2qru3t8

Photo (not mine): flic.kr/p/2qru3t8Nicely wrapped, however the BZLs at LI for the 58 are indeed for the 58 now, there was a shuffle in allocations. The D7 will receive a mix of 24 and 74 plates!

OK that makes sense, no point in moving buses around needlessly.

Is the 236 the sole route at LI that has only uses 100% Diesels without any strays happening? Believe it will be keeping the Streetlites for the current contract.

Saw from the TUK thread that there is a new Switch Mobility demonstrator with a 'YJ74' plate! It's also been mentioned to be at WH, anyone know why?

I think a BZL has strayed on the route at least once, but other than that the route doesn't see many strays, it's quite rigid with it's Streetlite allocation, that it has been retained with!

I wouldn’t call the allocation rigid at all, everyday it has a handful of E200s on route, yes the Streetlites are quite rigid and generally stay on the 236 but E200s appear on the 236 regularly, often StreetLites off the road for periods of time so assume the batch are quite unreliable but that is just my guessing but I wouldn’t call the allocation rigid at all

Going by LVF, the route does not seem to have ever had a BZL stray. But happy to be corrected.
