The new Ibus system is currently being trailed on routes 53,86 and 241. It’s basically just and updated ibus screen with Ai inputs. How does this work on routes like the 53 and 241 that use a wide range of different buses on a daily basis? Would buses not need to be route bound for the trial? It’s only in the IBUS room itself. The actual MDT and Wayfarer hasn’t changed. Someone who works in IBUS can explain probably explain better 😅

Hats off to the driver of my 53 who dealt sensitively and sensibly with a young child travelling unattended.

Just a thought, once the new buses are delivered for the W routes + 314 are regular strays likely to happen on the other SD routes at LI, AW & TB?

If you're talking about the electrics straying, this actually doesn't happen a lot at Stagecoach. It seems to me that they are more rigid with their electric buses allocations, unless they go on another route that also uses electrics, or is getting electrics.

The W13 and W14 have EV strays cos they are confirmed to convert but apart from that I cannot think of any that has happened with SD routes on top of my head.

I had the pleasure of capturing 36326 today which recently transferred to AW as a spare. 397 was certainly more interesting today with 36325, 36326 and 37555 all on the route AW drivers must be having fun 😆 flic.kr/p/2qqXJWK

I wonder if a swap will occur for the 56 in order to withdraw the 61 regs? Interesting to see the 55 and 56 both have a PVR decrease

According to this months LOTS, Stagecoach London have ordered 52 BYD BD11s electrics for routes 169 and 425. Praying right now this isn't true.. EDIT: Also, why 52? The TVR of the 425 and the 169 would add up to around 38-40 vehicles?
