Allocations look to be quite tight at DX now as they've let go of two DWs the past few months (DW246/7) and gained nothing in return which leaves the 175 using DW248-258) {11 Buses} + DW324-328 (5 Buses) - The PVR is 14 (+2 spare). Route 150 T169-T185 (17 Buses) PVR 15 + 2 Spare - T186-T193 + DW328-30 (10) 10 Buses, the route has a PVR of 10, no spares. Then they also have the issue that half of the 150s buses are branded, all the Ts are restricted to route 150 and 368 and the DWs have become quite unreliable recently with many out at a single time so I struggle to see DX coping without anything brought in to help unless DX just keep taped up buses on the road which is a signature move for the garage and wouldn't surprise me. T186-93 is 8 buses so 11 in total for PVR of 10.

I fully understood that my list displays the allocations currently 0 spares it should obviously have one but that one bus isn't at DX, effectively a route falls 1 spare short as there's not enough spares.

DW247 is a loan to [DT]

Is there any "source" saying the DWs have become "unreliable?"

T307 hasn't been seen since the 4th March is it out of action. Looks pretty out of action to me 😛 In all seriousness, I haven’t seen 307 for some while. Suggests some catastrophic mechanical failure or an accident/fire. T325 I’ve seen recently with a lot of shiny nearside rear panelling : guessing that had an accident recently?

Missing Buses mentioned above in previous posts. DW450, HV48, T36, T307 are still at Dartford probably having work done. ENX28 is nowhere to be seen I think it may have moved on. I had T325 for my second half yesterday and noticed this no idea what happened to it. Not done the 229 since January. I was expecting bus stops to be busy and funny enough it wasn’t what I expected. Passenger numbers on this route have definitely dropped. The 301 I’ve done a few times in the last couple of months and it is getting a lot busier. Single decker workings on the 160 & 229 have reduced a lot this month with 1 on the 160 AM off the road by 10 as well ENX30 went out on Thursday and subbed as soon as a double decker was available. I noticed on Tuesday doing VB15 ENX21 has replacement blinds fitted with 160, 286 & 492 removed off the blinds. ENX20, 21, 23, 26 all have these blinds so won’t be seen on 160 or 492. DW428, 430, 431, 439 & 446 are the only DWs with smart blinds without 301 & 428 as many in the last few weeks have had blind changes.

At the moment no major issues with any of the [DX] DW's

Yes the allocation has now been changed to 63 Reg HVs from Route 319. There was a rumour that has been circulated amongst drivers saying that HV1-8 will move over from Brixton which I immediately thought doesn’t make sense they are older than HV38-45 and allocated to Route 50 and will be 13 years old next year.

Age no longer seems to be a factor, considering the 318 was retained with 12 year old E200s a couple of years back The ENs EX 233 were introduced late February 2008 (The few EX 192 a few months older). 318 Contract November 2018 so they were 10 years/8 months old+1 week. ENXs on Route B15 exactly 10 years old as 428 & B15 have the same renewal date
