Was speaking to a driver from TH this evening and was mentioned the 410 is rumoured to be going fully SLS using the surplus SLSs from the 450. Overall I would not be surprised if this does happen considering the age of the ENSs and the route being up for tender at the moment. If it does happen, makes a lot of sense

Overall I would not be surprised if this does happen considering the age of the ENSs and the route being up for tender at the moment. I had imagined this would happen ever since the 450 result. I wonder what’ll happen to the excess SLSs as I don’t believe there are any routes up soon which could use them— Arriva didn't manage to win a route that could actually use them like the 382 for example. 410 will only require SLS9-22 to directly replace ENS15-28, and that’s assuming it doesn’t get a PVR cut upon tender which I believe it will The spare ones will probably be withdrawn, the 410 is the most logical choice to put them on. When the 397 & W11 were lost and 450 gaining new buses the 410 was the most logical choice to put the ENSs on. In addition they could have even gone on the B13 however that too got new buses…

Something I forgot to mention from my Saturday evening in Croydon was how fantastic the HA refurbs at TH are. I genuinely confused HA27 on the 198 as EA27! It's great that a 6/7 year old bus can look like it just rolled off the production line after a good revamp.

There’s a perfect number of SLSs for it too

Will the full 34 move to AD following the loss of 340?

AE is confirmed to close by the end of January 2023 with the 254's moved to CT. I'm sure this comes as a surprise to nobody

It will fit into CT because of the amount of night buses Clapton operates. The notice states that "The proposed reallocation is to relocate Route 254 so it will operate fully out of Clapton as we have space available". SF is rumoured to be reponed but nothing yet confirmed

Saw HV373 with a newly painted front panel today

The 38, 242, 253 and 254 have all had reductions so the combined lower PVRs can fit the 73 in compared to back in the early 00s.
