The second working YX65 RNA has done at AW, this time on W19, this one was the one that got refurbished and was ex 339, pretty sure this should be going to RM for 346 when the tender starts. Are you sure? 3 of the ex 339 65regs should be going to the W19 for its new contract. nice, and sorry for posting this on the wrong operator page .

I assume Stagecoach will move into the Arriva side of the garage, they’re going to need the space for electrification to occur and don’t forget it will give them quite a lot of flexibility to bid for other routes. Technically if they wanted to bid for the 34’s they could do that with the additional space and then move the 55’s into HK. I believe Stagecoach already put a cheeky bid in for the 38’s to run it from HK but was turned down due to the price for them to run it. I believe an extra 5 buses would have been needed to maintain the split service I was not aware of any Stagecoach bid from Ash Grove, I am sure the time the 38 tender was in, they would not have even had the space there if they had the garage as yet. I was aware of Tower Transit from [LI] Might of been something lost in translation there. Perhaps HK would have been used for standing only with LI being the operating garage?

I don't think that it could stand at HK considering that it is not on the line of route. If the shorts did not stand at CT, then they would either run all the way to Clapton Pond or potentially stand at Dalston Junction bus station if there is sufficient stand space there. Clapton Pond is closer to central Hackney than HK is.

Will this allow Stagecoach to take over the whole of the garage, or does a license change need to be done first? It's not theirs to mothball as it's leased from TfL.

It's not theirs to mothball as it's leased from TfL. As long as they keep the lease going, why can't they mothball it? Theoretically they could do that, but bare in mind they're vacating Ash Grove as apart of an "overall cost review" rather then it being a strategic move. There's marginal savings in relocating the 254 drivers, the engineers, Garage Supervisors and whoever else to Clapton paying them disturbance pay (I assume) for the move and then continue to lease Ash Grove just in case. Its possible that TFL will keep the garage spilt for multiple operators to use, or for Arriva to return at a later date. That being said I cant see why Stagecoach wouldnt want complete control of the garage to complete their own electrification for the D7's. Time will tell I suppose

* Based on other installs it may run late.

Are AD and WN going back to the old days of sharing buses? Notice that HV90 and 91 are currently carrying out WN duties, perhaps capitalomnibus can shed some light?

Spoke to one of the AD engineers on the phone earlier about HV90 because the driver was complaining it was blowing hot air, its been transferred to Wood Green.

Let’s see if AD receive any buses from elsewhere, that’s 12 down including the SW’s

Let’s see if AD receive any buses from elsewhere, that’s 12 down including the SW’s I would assume so, I didn't ask what the reasoning was for the transfer, I was more trying to see if he would turn the heater off for me since WN wasnt answering lol. I assume the transfer is for as SILENCED said the new 141 schedules. I would love if AD got some more high number HV buses, the low numbered ones constantly have issues with coolant and "Engine Stop System Failure". Dont think Arriva has any sitting spare at the moment though
