My money is on GA (AL) winning the route. [br Maybe , if AL lose the 131 they’ll be space. I hope they don’t lose the 131, it’s the one route I really want Merton to keep!

Also got the option of FW which is wired up and could have space made available fairly easily (eg, 71, 216, K3 to TV) - 131 ran from FW for 20-odd years as well. I personally suspect it'll be kept by GAL with new electric buses mind.

I wonder what the SLSs could replace, I was always thinking about the ENLs from 255 being replaced but maybe that wont happen. I assume half of them will go to the 410 to give it a full allocation of SLSs, with the ENSs withdrawn. Could some of the ENS’s not transfer to DT to replace the 09 ENX/L’s?

Knowing Abellio, they’d do the 131 from BC 😂

The K5 is up for tender?? Apparently, RATP have thrown in routes 65/N65, 71, 281, 371, 639/670, E1 and K5 to be retendered. Discussion has been happening in the RATP thread. Wow. Hmm interesting - thank you

Not at all, that would be quite a downgrade to replace ENXs as ENSs are only 9.6m and the DT 09 ENXs are 10.8m so it wouldn't really work.

When will the 29 go up for tender, and are the LJ13s even compliant for a retainment?

It would work but does not make any sense as suggested for the 255… the most logical batch of vehicles to put on the B15 are the ENXs from the 289 which is currently up for tender both 255 & 289 will go Electric unless another operator wins them with existing vehicles… 166 & B15 could benefit for this if they wish to withdraw the Voith Enviro 200s.

Walked past TH and I see no signs of electrical working/infrastructure taking place. Also I didn’t spot any ES’s at the garage. I’m not sure the electric conversion of 64 is taking place anytime soon. I wonder what’s going on with the 417’s conversion I am a driver at Thornton Heath and I can say that the works have already been completed, just in the process of installing the chargers. 6 chargers have been installed so far.
