I wonder what the SLSs could replace, I was always thinking about the ENLs from 255 being replaced but maybe that wont happen. Why would 9.7m Streetlites replace 10.2m Enviro200s unless I'm missing something? 9.8m DDEs did replace 10.2m DEs on the 326 However I wonder if this is permanent or not? With the K5's contract being retendered, the 14reg SDEs may not be new enough anymore. The DDEs were often used on the route when allocated to the 470, and would be a good fit for the PVR. DLEs from the 223 could then go to the 440, then releasing DMEs to BT to fully convert the 326? I think it was mentioned there may be issues with electrifying TV, so not sure what else RATP could bid with, and could risk Go Ahead winning the K5.

Walked past TH and I see no signs of electrical working/infrastructure taking place. Also I didn’t spot any ES’s at the garage. I’m not sure the electric conversion of 64 is taking place anytime soon. I wonder what’s going on with the 417’s conversion It was stated earlier that part of the garage was sectioned off with Beddington being used as an outstation, with Beddington now reverted to a driver training base I would assume that means the works at TH are completed.

RATP have thrown in more routes, check the RATP Thread for the full list.

Apparently, RATP have thrown in routes 65/N65, 71, 281, 371, 639/670, E1 and K5 to be retendered. Discussion has been happening in the RATP thread.

could risk Go Ahead winning the K5. I reckon Abellio would be more likely than Go Ahead to win the K5, both TF and BC would be good locations to operate the route from, and it seems like GAL are avoiding routes that use 9m buses because the shortest length BYD/ADL bus available is 9.7m (and even if 9.7m is fine, I believe that SEe's can't run on the K5 due to a very low bridge on Queen Elizabeth Road anyway).

That nearly crippled [LI] as they were losing near £25k per week! They then had to revert the drivers that TUPE transferred to DR24 the normal high paid double deck driver rate instead of the bendy bus rate. I remember the drivers and union then taking First to court over this and losing. Even after they were on DR24 they were still losing but no way as much. IN 2012 I remember many of them wanting Stagecoach to buy the company, only for them to pull out of buying First due to the contract prices and losses, only 10 years later to buy [LI] of then Tower Transit. Weren't Stagecoach lined up to buy all 3 capital garages? NP/DM/LI? From what I remember it was only [DM] and [LI]

I wonder what’s going on with the 417’s conversion I've only seen two Electroliners in the tram shed on Brixton Hill a few weeks ago and over that week, I spotted them several times parked in the exact same spots as if they've not moved at all

I wonder what the SLSs could replace, I was always thinking about the ENLs from 255 being replaced but maybe that wont happen. The 255’s buses look absolutely horrible, some new electric buses would be a great step forward. My money is on GA (AL) winning the route.

SLS1-8 could move to the 318 as ENR Refurb floats those ENRs are getting run into the ground like Harry Kane at Bayern Munich
