And let me guess, 250 is your least favourite? 109 & 250 have been routes mentioned as the most disliked. A 450 driver who has now moved to C I think has been on it since the 90s after a while refused to do 109 & 250. 250 & 450 funny enough are high for fare evasion. As a passenger there is very little that I like about the 109 or the 250, on the rare times I use either. If I’m not using the train, the 50 or 468 are much nicer route out of Croydon to the north.

It’s honestly a blessing the Ts are going. They struggle on any slight incline. I once had a T doing, I kid you not, 5mph uphill in New Addington. Let’s hope the ESs remain in good nick I can do better, I drove the 255 the other day and got ENL60, probably the worst bus in the garage. I would say it takes about 20 seconds to move off, takes forever to get up to the speed of the road. By the time I can get to a good speed, I have to stop. Both the front doors and back doors take forever to open and close. Was going up St Leonards Church in Streatham which is a bit of a hill, kid you not, 1-2 mph, such a hazard on the road. It has no power whatsoever I remember when I luckily caught a HA on the 250, the driver absolutely loved it and overtook more than 7 buses between Brixton and streatham, before being told to hold back. Not sure why HAs don’t make more occurrences on the 250, would make drivers life bit more enjoyable on their duties. However I do question the engineers laid back antics on these terrible vehicles, blatantly not fixing them, is it more of a policy to restrict them that badly just to save on fuel?

The HA's are supposed to be on the 198 so it's only likely to be the occasional appearance on other routes.

Same with the 64 when a HA goes on there, the drivers love them because they are so powerful uphill, it makes their job so much easier. And basically yes, I think they are just so laid back they don't have any urgency. I think it's due to them not having the money to send them away to get fixed. ENX11 has recently been fixed with a new engine and an updated dashboard, and it is incredibly fast now

We tell the engineers it is not fit for service, yet they still put it out and it gets subbed again. I am on spares so I do everything. I did 64 yesterday and both buses were just so slow, both had no power moving off and going uphill is a joke It’s honestly a blessing the Ts are going. They struggle on any slight incline. I once had a T doing, I kid you not, 5mph uphill in New Addington. Let’s hope the ESs remain in good nick The problem stems from lack of maintenance. They are aware of the slow buses, but down to an ever tightening engineering budget. Only way something is done is if the bus is constantly rejected and the mileage loss goes over a certain amount. A few of them have dead turbo's, blocked up adblue injectors, engine compression issues.

The 410’s conversion to full SLS is going quite slowly— I expected it to happen almost immediately

The 410’s conversion to full SLS is going quite slowly— I expected it to happen almost immediately Since SLS3 and SLS17 have transferred so far, being opposite ends of the batch, I wonder if the 410 will now simply be allocated 66reg SLSs only? With the smaller batch of 17reg that were ordered for the 410 sent elsewhere?

If there's 8 SLS's or so left over, they could head north to the 318, and those single door ENRs could see work in the Provinces somewhere

I had thought that SLS9-22 would go to 410 to correspond with SLS23-30 with SLS1-8 spare. SLS11 is on 410 as we speak

I see that 4 WN HV’s are now on the 141 in the morning, has there been a further change of schedule?

I see that 4 WN HV’s are now on the 141 in the morning, has there been a further change of schedule? There are meant to be 3 on M-F. Trouble is at times they get backplated so much at [AD] that there is sometimes more [WN] buses staying over at [WN]

Or has the rest of the 34's allocation moved in?
