On an interesting side note, I would heavily suspect the 289 getting new buses next will see its newer ENXs sent to the B15, to dispose of its ghastly 09-reg counterparts DT wouldn’t be happy receiving them, they’re just as terrible - whoever gets the two 67 reg ENX’s will likely be happy though Hopefully TC get ENX31 and 32 to replace the remaining ex Stagecoach ENL’s I probably speak in the minority but I’d actually quite like some of the 289’s ENX’s on the 166 as well to see off those ENL’s - so long as TC clean out their filters!

The SL2 will operate out of Barking. Argument Dun… Finally DX has gained a route the Witches Hat Roundabout theory is history. Just would have loved to see the look of the guy with the rose tinted glasses face reading the reveal of the SL2. The company was unfortunate over not securing the el routes and a few others which was ultimately spelling the death bed for [DX] The good thing is in the South some of the routes that were not in favour of being secured has been with the combined group bid

I assume the ES allocations will be as follows: ES51-83 (279) ES84-113 (243) ES114-130 (50) ES131-146 (194) ES147-170 (250) ES171 (689) ES172-188 (289) ES189 (663) This is obviously banking on the assumption all these routes will get ES It's a big order so Arriva London may dual-source and order some vehicles from ADL, or possibly even Volvo. Wright are very quick at delivering. The batch for the 64 is complete, it's more a case of infrastructure slowing down the entry to service.

Still got the 150 and 175 to go, would assume any benefit DX gets will be reliant on both those routes staying.

Kinda hoping for the Kite, I know a lot of people like seeing all different types however I like when operators do go through one manufacturer so would be nice to see Electroliners and Kites operate with Arriva. Obviously they could choose to stay with Optare for single deckers but I feel they only ordered the Optares as it was the only option for the 377 due to length.
